Who's using Debian?

4. We are using Debian on right of our servers (64-bit versions), and on 
two of our workstations. Our servers are running applications written in 
PHP or Ruby, database software (mysql, postgresql), SMTP server, DNS, 
and ftp.


We chose Debian because it is a community, and a simple, stable 
distribution.

4. Nous utilisons Debian sur huit de nos serveurs (version 64 bits) et 
sur deux de nos stations de travail. Sur nos serveurs fonctionnent des 
applications écrites en PHP ou Ruby, des logiciels de base de données 
(mysql, postgresql) et des serveurs SMTP, DNS et ftp.


Nous avons choisi Debian parce que c'est une communauté et une 
distribution simple et stable.

Мы выбрали Debian потому, что это простой и стабильный дистрибутив 
настоящего сообщества.

4. Vi använder Debian pa atta av vara servrar (64-bitars versioner), och 
pa tva av vara arbetsstationer. Vara servrar kör applikationer skrivna i 
PHP eller Ruby, databasmjukvara (mysql, postgresql), SMTP-server, DNS 
och ftp.


Vi valde Debian pa grund av dess gemenskap, och en enkel, stabil 
distribution.

Who's using Debian?

4. We are using Debian as main server's operating system. This includes
services such as SMB, commercial Antivirus, GLPI
http://www.glpi-project.org , MySQL database and, in future, OPENLDAP.

Also we are deploying desktop machines with Lxde as Xwindow. Already we
have 4 test machines, but next year we are planning ca. 100 PC's
deployment, which is one third of our desktop machines.

We have chosen Debian because of its great stability and long term
support. Also we use Debian because it has got great reviews as server
solution.
