Package: wiki.debian.org
Severity: normal

The account creation page
http://wiki.debian.org/FrontPage?action=newaccount requires people to
pass a reCaptcha, which is annoying for able-bodied users and
downright impossible for some users with disabilities.

The login page http://wiki.debian.org/FrontPage?action=login
does not allow one to login with OpenID or something else that
is more accessible (like something created from our GPG key, maybe).

http://lists.debian.org/search.html is not functional

2013-04-27 Thread Richard Owlett

The same underlying bug is expressed on two pages:
  1. http://lists.debian.org/search.html
  2. http://wiki.debian.org/DebianMailingLists/SearchHowto

Bug #670947 was filed against
http://wiki.debian.org/DebianMailingLists/SearchHowto with
priority "normal".

I believe a higher priority bug should have been filed
against http://lists.debian.org/search.html
There should be an explicit field to identify which specific
mailing list is to be searched.

What is proper procedure get this into the bug tracking
system without causing confusion?

TIA

Hello,

I'd be happy to participate in this work. I recently
finished switching the DB in one of my Perl apps from MLDBM to MySQL.
Where are discussions going to take place?

The Debian bug tracking system does not have the ability to record
"priority", the string "normal" refers to the severity not the
priority.

The existing bug has recorded the issue, so theres no need to do
anything more for that.

If you want to get it fixed, the best way would be to mail a patch to
the bug, I would guess the lists admins are busy with other things and
would appreciate the help. I'm unable to find out where the source
code for that page is stored, you will need to ask the listmasters
before you can help out.

Hi there.

Steve: please provide a summary + details for the Windows 8 + UEFI
issue, so that it can be added to errata, either by me or www
folks. Feel free to commit if you already have access, too.

Also, please tell us whether to keep the current “Potential issues
with UEFI booting on amd64” entry.

WWW people, please trigger a rebuild if possible (my usual mates
didn't answer on IRC this time ;)). Worst case, the website will be
updated through its next cron job.

Thanks.

KiBi.

consultants list no longer updated

2013-04-27 Thread Holger Wansing
Hello,

since 4 days, the Debian consultants list is no longer updated.
Which means, the changings I commit are not making it on the website.

Any ideas?
Somewhere I could look for some build logs etc?

log: Incipit: entry disabled, since mail delivery failed

on my browser, Incipit is not on the page.
maybe you are looking cache or wrong mirror?
if you have a doubt about sync issue, first look the page on

Huuh, yes, that does the trick:
http://www-staging.debian.org/consultants/
is different from
http://www.debian.org/consultants/
here.

Is this a problem of my ISP (proxy)?

Either that or there is something wrong with the www.d.o mirror that
