That would be very nice.

I fear this is not possible, it sounds only like a solution to raise your
g**gle rank, and we would not be happy with our webpages full of advertising
links.

Category cached search V. Full Text Search

2011-06-25 Thread DebianWiki . NeoPhyte_Rep
I created http://wiki.debian.org/CategoryFreedomBox which displays 19
of the pages to which I added the text CategoryFreedomBox.

http://wiki.debian.org/CategoryFreedomBox?action=fullsearch&context=180&value=linkto%3A%22CategoryFreedomBox%22
responds, "Results 1 - 23 of about 23 results out of about 15426
pages. (0.46 seconds)", but displays only 21 results.

http://wiki.debian.org/CategoryFreedomBox?action=fullsearch&context=180&value=CategoryFreedomBox&fullsearch=Text
responds, "Results 1 - 25 of about 32 results out of about 15426
pages. (0.24 seconds)", displays only 22 results, and no means of
displaying any further results.

I am under the impression that the results should be the same across
all of these.

Is there anything I can do to get them to produce the same result?

Hi,

since my attachment probably prevented the mail reaching the d-www list,
I'll CC this one (see bug #563030 for missed mails and patch).

Please pardon me assuming so then.

Yes, I am not attached to that regex, but don't feel that
comfortable writing one (it would probably break on something ;)

Why I chose that regex, is that it is used by the MooTools project (a
major JavaScript Framework) and is a relatively core part for matching
anything URI-related there. It is also really universal.
It has seen no changes since January 2010 (according to blame), so I
would believe it is well tested.

For verification, it can be found on github[1], Line 42, (sorry about the
URL).
