I think the error lies here:

#: ../../english/MailingLists/mklist.tags:39
msgid "Subscribe"
msgstr "q¾\"

The \ either needs additional escaping, or something else is going
fishy here. Can you pretty please check that and propably also do
locally a "make" in chinese/MailingLists to check that your correction
to that string is proper?

 Thanks in advance!
Rhonda

Thanks your information, but I don't see any problem. Below is my build
log:

../../english/MailingLists/mklist -f ../../english/MailingLists/lists.cfg -s
wml -q -D CUR_YEAR=2008 -o [EMAIL PROTECTED]:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -o [EMAIL
PROTECTED]:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -o [EMAIL PROTECTED]:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
--prolog=../bin/fix_big5.pl subscribe.wml
 * Converting: [zh_CN.GB2312], [zh_HK.Big5], [zh_TW.Big5].
../../english/MailingLists/mklist -f ../../english/MailingLists/lists.cfg -u
wml -q -D CUR_YEAR=2008 -o [EMAIL PROTECTED]:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -o [EMAIL
PROTECTED]:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -o [EMAIL PROTECTED]:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
--prolog=../bin/fix_big5.pl unsubscribe.wml
 * Converting: [zh_CN.GB2312], [zh_HK.Big5], [zh_TW.Big5].

The po file has proper encoding been set, so it should not need
additional escaping, no?

Kanru

pido por una ayuda

2008-11-18 Thread alexis mazorra

finden.

Vielleicht http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=677277 oder
http://festvox.org/docs/manual-1.4.3/festival_toc.html ?

Patch for stattrans.pl

2008-11-18 Thread Jean-Edouard Babin
Hello,

Here is a patch proposal for stattrans.pl (used for page like
http://www.debian.org/devel/website/stats/fr.html)
It purpose is to add into "Outdated translations" part of "Debian web
site translation statistics" pages a link to the latest translated
version of the wml file ([F]) and a like to the log of the translation
file ([L]).
So that it's easier for people that don't have a local copy of the cvs
to get the translated file that need to be updated.

I tried it with the etch tetex-bin from alioth.d.o (not tested with
lenny or sid version), with same result.

#404076 is the only bug reported which applies to etch and refers to a
loop..

I testex with db2pdf instead of dblatex without sucess, but honestly, I
have no experience of db2pdf at all, I maybe made something wrong...

The need of backported package for generating documentation was already
evoked on the list, does someone can sum up / explains our issue ?

Bug#264589: packages.d.o: 264589: please link to manpages.d.n

2008-11-18 Thread Paul Wise
retitle 264589 packages.d.o: please link to manpages on manpages.d.n
thanks

I think it would be a good idea for packages.d.o to link to the HTML
versions of Debian manpages provided at manpages.debian.net.

Firstly the package contents pages should link the manual page path
names to the corresponding manual page on manpages.d.n.

Secondly, the individual package pages could have a documentation
section on the right sidebar linking to individual manual pages (and
doc-base info later on perhaps). If there are a large number of manual
pages in one package, manpages could grow a package search page and
packages.d.o could link to that.
