Hi,

I tried this, and the only result I get for any query is "Language code uk
unknown".

Thanks for looking at it, and apologies for presenting a version with a, let us
say, incomplete fix for languages without stemming support.

Now it should be better, although I must admit that I do not have too much of an
idea about relevance when I search for terms appearing in the Ukrainian pages.

Kind regards

contents search on packages.debian.org

2008-02-12 Thread Hamish Moffatt
The contents search on packages.debian.org allows you to search for
substrings in filenames but not in directory names. Only keywords at the
end of paths seem to be allowed. Can this be improved?

To be honest I find the contents search feature overly difficult to use.
Can you scrap the search time and just have it use grep? Or make the
difficult a simple keyword search against the full filename (including
path)?

thanks
Hamish

Did you try to right-click on the link and choose "save as" from the
context menu? Please notice that Internet Explorer might try to actually
_display_ the ISO image to you instead of downloading it. Besides,
please read the introduction messages on
 about that using Internet Explorer
for downloading the images might not be a very good idea. Also see the
linked FAQ in the left hand side.

If this doesn't help you, please be a bit more specific on your
problem, thanks.

 So long,
Rhonda

packages.debian.org and strange behaviour while searching perl

2008-02-12 Thread Petr Vorel
Hello,

I'd like to ask something about web sites.

I'm using search engine to find about perl package
http://packages.debian.org/search?keywords=perl&searchon=names&suite=all§ion=all

1) The seach engine shows just perl package. Shouldn't it show other *perl*
packages?
2) The links in the result leads not to package perl but to section perl - if I
click to section perl in experimental
it shows http://packages.debian.org/experimental/perl/
instead of http://packages.debian.org/experimental/perl/perl

It's probably wanted so I'm sorry for troubleing you. I've just come to
behaviour, which I'm not used to.

Regards,
Petr Vorel
