packages still compromised?
Accessing eg. http://packages.debian.org/stable/ : "packages.debian.org is down at the moment." And it has been so for a while. Is it still compromised or down for some other real reason, or is this simply an oversight? Email scraping on d.o webpages
I wonder if anyone else has seen the spammer trap at the bottom of the accu.org webpage. Summary: it autogenerates links to bogus mailing lists, each filled with bogus subscribers and recurses with links to yet more lists. As to whether it is a good idea for Debian, or anyone else, to implement a similar script, I'll leave as an exercise for the reader... cheers, Ron

Bug#224254: [www.debian.org] link destination does not exist for daily d-i build
Hi Flo. I guess this is still related to the server compromise. I think we just have to wait until the fully-featured gluck is back (lintian was also hosted there). But perhaps this should even be assigned to cdimage.debian.org instead of www as its the hosting issue that matters here. Debian devs? Bye, phil -- Philipp Kern <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Secure your mails! I guess it would be a good idea to get Søren to use the same writing of his name in all of his packages. Søren, do you think you can manage to get the packages use all the same layout? Mark, if you find some additional contact those people directly -- it is up to them to "fix" it. The page is generated out of the data in the Packages file. Bug#224734: www.debian.org: lintian.debian.org still down
Package: www.debian.org Severity: important lintian.debian.org is still down due to the compromise of gluck but the PTS still links to it. Quite confusing as http://lintian.debian.org is currently a redirect to http://www.debian.org/distrib/ftplist

Absolutely, the problem has been with me reencoding control-files multiple times by accident, which unfortunately cooincided with the compromise which temporarily rendered me unable to fix the problem. I will start uploading "fixed" packages ASAP; and probably some time tonight. -- Søren O.,''`. : :' : GPG key id: 0x1EB2DE66 `. `' GPG signed mail preferred. `-
