That's so wierd. Can you try 'make clean' and the build it again?

I just built the latest from the potato branch on klecker, no problems.

I tried it, it didn't help. In your repository, where is the
Configure-the-Base-System entity defined?

Package: www.debian.org
Version: N/A; reported 2001-11-21
Severity: normal

The new Debian bug page is missing the texts for the "Additional
Settings" section in the German translation. The buttons are there.
I would suggest the following translations:

Flags: -> Flags:
active bugs -> aktive Fehler
archived bugs -> archivierte Fehler
no ordering by status or severity -> nicht nach Status oder
  Dringlichkeit sortieren
Reverse order of: -> Reihenfolge umkehren:
status -> Status
severities -> Dringlichkeit
bugs -> Fehler
Include status: -> Folgende Status anzeigen:
Exclude status: -> Folgende Status nicht anzeigen:
Include severity: -> Folgende Dringlichkeiten anzeigen:
Exclude severity: -> Folgende Dringlichkeiten nicht anzeigen:
open -> offen
forwarded -> weitergeleitet
pending -> ausstehend
fixed -> behoben
done -> geschlossen
critical -> kritisch
grave -> gravierend
serious -> ernst
important -> wichtig
normal -> normal
minor -> gering
wishlist -> wünschenswert
fixed -> behoben

You may choose not to translate the bug severities.

 - Sebastian

I read your message a few times and at first tried to agree with that
sentiment, but after reading it again, I can't. Debian isn't a distribution
for _complete_ newbies, never was, most likely never will be. With the
current /doc/ page, we require people to read on a couple of paragraphs in
order to grasp the way the documentation is organized; after they figure it
out, finding the Sound HOWTO is easy. Is that really so much to ask?

(sorry for the bad mail threading, I lost a few recent messages on -www and

Not really, all slices should be there untranslated. Does someone write
a script to update missing slices in such files?

Perhaps it would be more useful if wml had a mode where it barfed about
missing tags.

I will think about it, but it seems not trivial.

Hi, when I wanted to install the Hurd, I followed the link from
http://www.debian.org/ports/hurd> to
http://www.debian.org/ports/hurd/hurd-install>, which pointed to

obsolete according to XiDEX on openprojects.net #hurd IRC.

This web page should apparently just link to
