The language code "br" means Breton.

Also, the lang attribute only specifies the language on the current page (I
use when I copy longer parts of English text in my
translations). To indicate the page of a referred page, use the hreflang
attribute of the tag. (Hmmm, the language links at the bottom of each
page should of course have a proper hreflang, I can't believe I missed
that)

There's also the case when the /usr/share/doc/foo is a symlink to another
directory, which is legal when that other package is in foo's Depends:.

It's likely that the new master will handle this with much less problems --
its performance has improved drastically for all resource-wasteful scripts I
tried :)

And I didn't actually ask anyone to allow lintian runs -- there was once
lintian lab on it, it can be back. I'm sure that if something goes wrong the
admins will shut it down, that is easy.

Hello,

I have tried to subscribe to the debian-user-french mailinglist under
the address "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". I got a confirmation, but I
never got a message since the beginning.

I was allready subscribed to this list for some months, but I don't know
if this has something to do with.

What is happening ?

Thanks in advance,
Philippe.

And Debian native packages do include changelog.gz instead of
changelog.Debian.gz
I ran a script (should be on ftp-master.debian.org ~barbier/changelog
IIRC) yesterday but could not let it go through the entire archive
because I had to sleep, my impression was that symlink files are not a
problem, and symlink doc directory are frequent but easy to handle.
I'll send a full script when it is finished.

New Perl/ toplevel directory

2001-09-05 Thread Denis Barbier
Hi,

there is a new Perl/ toplevel directory, which is needed to build some
pages (currently all original documents, and */international/l10n/ in a
near future ;))
So make sure to
cvs update -d Perl
if you use to compile WML files.

Oh. I was looking at debian.org/searchtmpl, which shows variables and

search.d.o doesn't show the Catalan version... hm (but works fine).

Please create debian-user-woody list. And- debian-testing archive is broken.

VERY IMPORTANT (IMHO)

I think it would be an excellent idea to have a debian-user-woody list.

The debian-testing is for developers. But I suspect there are many people
(myself included) who are just trying to _use_ woody, and are _not_ developers.
Such a list would help debiam by:
1. Providing a forum for woody _users_ to discuss issues.
perhaps enabling testing debugging to proceed faster since
woody users will have a concise reference place for their concerns
and not have to waste lots of time digging through other places
   (such as debian-user, perhaps)
where woody issues are not the primary topic.
2. Keeping debiam-testing from having user traffic,
thus letting it focus on development issues.

I believe this list would be a big time saver for debian-woody users and
help boost the efficiency of the debian project overall.

I hearby request you give this issue serious consideration at
your earliest possible convenience.

Thank you. :)
