Package: wnpp Hi, As explained on #540952, kio-locate needs to be ported to KDE4, but since I don't have much time right now and I don't use KDE4's konqueror or dolphin I can't test it and maintain it as properly as it should be. The package doesn't require much maintenance, but I would be willing to continue being one of the maintainers. At present what needs to be done is move from scons to cmake and port it to kde4. While you are at it, as your package also uses domxml-php4-php5.php why don't
you also package it? (it would be better if the code was finally ported instead

If it is not supported then it should be documented and the dependency on
php-db dropped or downgraded to suggests if you insist/think there are
chances for it to be used.
I have not fully reviewed/audited the code, but the code has several
vulnerabilities (symlink attacks, directory traversal, and XSS are those I
have identified).
The symlinks attack can be launched because of predictable file names used and
the default storage directory.
To make things worst, the user's input is not sanitized, so it is possible to
predict the file name where data is going to be written to by passing an
arbitrary pgtIou GET argument. The same lack of sanitization allows an
attacker to either perform XSS or directory traversal attacks by abusing the
callback function in CAS/client.php).
Additionally the functions calling getCallbackURL when proxy mode is enabled
can lead to XSS attacks if the validation request fails. A similar situation
also applies to functions calling getURL.
Tomorrow I'll send this information to bugtraq and will file the corresponding
bug reports against packages shipping phpCAS.
I strongly recommend you and upstream to audit the code.

The test suite fails when testing the local copy of magic{,.mime} it ships.
This bug is known by upstream as

And after reconsidering, I've decided not to package it because I'm not very interested in using it anymore. Anyone willing to continue my work on packaging irrlicht please see my last upload[1] to m.d.n. I remember some bogus things on the packaging so probably the best thing to do is carefully review all the current debian packaging. Upstream has recently released version 1.4 of the irrlicht engine. In the past the existing Makefile was bogus and some workarounds were required, I don't know if this is still the case. Some notes on the zipped-"sources" provided by upstream (they apply for version 1.3.1, I don't know about 1.4): * it contains pre-built binary files for windows * lot of windows-only stuff around * libpng, libjpeg, zlib: all of them shipped by upstream and used by default * the media/ dir contains non-free stuff (and some other stuff that probably doesn't even fit for non-free) * the Makefile is bogus: make clean will first build part of the sources and then clean! * sonames: I think they used the version number as the soname I hope this information helps anyone trying to package irrlicht.
