Bug#327561: O: xmms -- Versatile X audio player that looks like Winamp
Package: wnpp Severity: normal I'm orphaning XMMS, since I don't use XMMS sufficiently often to be a really attentive maintainer, and Josip Rodin is completely inactive. XMMS isn't too active upstream these days, yet with its large collection of plugins, the package is still _very_ useful, and very comfortable for many people. So this package really should remain in the archive. Fortunately, it should be easy to maintain. Cheers, Christopher Martin Here's some package information: Description: Versatile X audio player that looks like Winamp X MultiMedia System is a player for various audio formats, with a customizable interface based on X/GTK+. . It's able to read and play: * Audio MPEG layer 1, 2, and 3 (with mpg123 plug-in), * Ogg Vorbis files (with the Ogg Vorbis plug-in), * CD Audio (with CDAudio plug-in), with CDDB support, * WAV, RAW, AU (with internal wav plug-in and MikMod plug-in), * MOD, XM, S3M, and other module formats (with MikMod plug-in), * .cin files, id Software. It has eSound, OSS, and disk writer support for outputting sound. . It looks almost the same as famous Winamp, and includes those neat features like general purpose, visualization and effect plug-ins, several of which come bundled, then spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, skins support, and of course, a playlist window. pgpAUY5EXCKR4.pgp Description: PGP signature

If you have any questions about my packaging (my patch system, with the autoreconf diff as the last patch, is perhaps not totally obvious), don't hesitate to ask. Bug#375226: RFA: gamin -- File and directory monitoring system

The latest KDE also includes its own inotify support, so gamin doesn't add anything to KDE either. Thus there would be no reason for us to adopt gamin as a KDE team package. (Of course I can't speak for all team members as individual developers.) Cheers, Christopher Martin pgpi9flif9xOs.pgp Description: PGP signature
Bug#154383: ITP: okle -- DVD player for KDE
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist * Package name: okle Version : 0.4 Upstream Author : Martin Piskernig <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> * URL : http://okle.sourceforge.net/ * License : GPL Description : DVD player for KDE oKle is a DVD player for KDE. As a front-end for the Ogle DVD player, it provides all the features of Ogle, plus several extra handy options, with a compact and intuitive GUI. Full-screen mode is supported for dedicated viewing. I've got packages more or less ready. I'll start looking for a sponsor shortly.
Bug#333816: O: okle -- DVD player for KDE
Package: wnpp Severity: normal I am orphaning the okle package. oKle's upstream has been dead for some time, as is the upstream of the DVD playback engine on which oKle is based, Ogle. Moreover, more featureful and maintained alternatives exist for KDE, including Kaffeine. --- Description: DVD player for KDE oKle is a DVD player for the K Desktop Environment. As a front-end for the Ogle DVD player, it provides all the features of Ogle and ogle-gui, though adding several extra handy options, while retaining a compact and intuitive GUI. Full-screen mode is supported for dedicated viewing. Most i386 users will want to ensure that ogle-mmx is installed instead of the generic ogle package, while most powerpc users will want ogle-altivec instead.
