Bug#1019279: RFP: libnet-libidn2-perl -- Perl bindings for GNU libidn2
On 06/09/2022 21:30, Thomas Uhle wrote: Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-CC: Debian Perl Group * Package name : libnet-libidn2-perl Version : 1.01 Upstream Author : Thomas Jacob * URL or Web page : https://metacpan.org/release/Net-LibIDN2 * License : Artistic or GPL-1+ Description : Perl bindings for GNU libidn2 Net::LibIDN2 provides Perl bindings for GNU libidn2, a C library for handling internationalized domain names according to IDNA 2008, Punycode and Unicode TR46. It closely follows the original C API of that library. Dear developers, there are Perl modules in Debian packages that already support Net::LibIDN2 (libnet-dns-perl for instance). As libidn2 implements the revised algorithm for internationalized domain names in contrast to its predecessor libidn, it would make sense to also have libnet-libidn2-perl as a Debian package next to libnet-libidn-perl. Thank you in advance! Best regards, Thomas Uhle Hi, ready (https://salsa.debian.org/perl-team/modules/packages/libnet-libidn2-perl). Maybe a review before push ? Cheers, Yadd

Bug#1019316: ITP: vector -- high-performance data pipeline for collecting all your logs and metrics
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Thomas Goirand X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org * Package name: vector Version : 0.24.0 Upstream Author : Datadog, Inc. * URL : https://vector.dev/ * License : MPL-2.0 Programming Lang: Rust Description : high-performance data pipeline for collecting all your logs and metrics Vector is a high-performance, end-to-end (agent & aggregator) observability data pipeline that puts you in control of your observability data. It can collect, transform, and route all your logs, metrics, and traces to any vendors you want today and any other vendors you may want tomorrow. Vector enables dramatic cost reduction, novel data enrichment, and data security where you need it, not where it is most convenient for your vendors. Additionally, it is 10x faster than every alternative in the space.

Unlike QEMU, it focuses on the emulation of CPU code without a full system emulation, but with the goal to make the emulation extensible and easy to integrate in custom tools. Unicorn provides language bindings for Python, Ruby, and Rust (among others) and has instrumentation hooks for various CPU events. This makes Unicorn well suited for malware analysis and reverse engineering. Unicorn is a dependency for pwntools. I am going to maintain this package out of personal interest in the topic. -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- iQGzBAEBCgAdFiEEJvtDgpxjkjCIVtam+C8H+466LVkFAmHXAfcACgkQ+C8H+466 LVnTQAwAljYMdPRNcKFxghBpeZYFSWQkH/NiBUjsX8CzsFuUvnlURYv98szwTYwB XSjMctcfNknq99FVo8W8Nou4V7Sofm41/6rXoDdY2GIqBMsEmbLyoCry0KWljJmg 8DK7xYVU9vBXlx8l0oZ8fq7tW61Z8oy6QqVzVhYCcj20evVbSuSf2eL+2e/4d7E7 Ws6bjJIfzRjT4PbncMYc6qwpiNrUKCT26VTm+c+Q9tRSiE1I7kpWKsKbdm1LOOYU ZYIDPCcUGJpacgRkXKI/yVHr0xj6+4lMOLlruFP27wGG2oX0vbuqi6Nc3BSQ4PdX NHW6AJY8NGD8ttu5ExzfbCcF/qO+xuSWfq7uQe6BNMcFqGIOYUtq9uUm7IQYnFH3 SufXipBqq2Eksj3+PBygG+xQquFARqKefnegFBUHQ4pvbxcMQIDSuwRqPslQv3QB Vsc+yb2lvtQF0cgetIX632oLOViZq2n3Z5lKpOG/Kk+ZK9yCBt/impibFwF1FR2A 0g1vAea6 =BJ5G -END PGP SIGNATURE- --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: unicorn-engine Source-Version: 1.0.3-1 Done: Timo Röhling We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of unicorn-engine, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive. From there, either it's accepted or rejected, but in both cases it gets out from NEW. Nothing can be done on our side, except asking ftpmasters to review faster, but it's something to do only in urgent cases, and a new package, even as exciting as LXD, is anything but urgent.
