Bug#1009623: ITP: python-hazwaz -- a python3 library to write command line scripts.
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Elena ``of Valhalla'' X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org * Package name: python-hazwaz Version : 0.0.1 Upstream Author : Elena ``of Valhalla'' Grandi * URL : https://sr.ht/~valhalla/hazwaz/ * License : AGPLv3+ Programming Lang: Python Description : a python3 library to write command line scripts. This library helps reducing the copypasted boilerplate code used to write argparse based command line programs, substituting it with tested code that includes testing helpers. This will become a dependency of the next version of lesana, and I will maintain it together with it in the Python Team.

Bug#1009621: ITP: python-sasl -- Python bindings for Cyrus libsasl2
I did a bit of work packaging python-sasl to create a simple/reasonable debian package, and i've published my work at https://salsa.debian.org/debian/python-sasl But after playing with the module more, i no longer think it should be in in debian. as the debian/TODO file in the salsa repo notes: The module itself doesn't feel great -- it has no documentation, no examples, and what feels to me like a distinctly unpythonic interface. It has also seen only very intermittent upstream contributions. So i'm abandoning this work for now (and closing the bug report) but leaving it visible for anyone who wants to pick up on it from here. Hopefully this data trail is useful for someone in the future. --dkg On Tue 2022-04-12 23:16:48 -0700, Daniel Kahn Gillmor wrote: > Package: wnpp > Severity: wishlist > Owner: Daniel Kahn Gillmor > X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org, d...@fifthhorseman.net > > * Package name: python-sasl > Version : 0.3.1 > Upstream Author : Todd Lipcon > * URL : https://github.com/cloudera/python-sasl > * License : Apache-2.0 > Programming Lang: C, Python > Description : Python bindings for libsasl2 > > This package should enable a Python-based tool to take advantage of > any installed SASL module. > > This should be useful for testing tools like sasl-xoauth2 (see for > example #1006888) signature.asc Description: PGP signature

Bug#1009672: ITP: kfilt -- filter Kubernetes resources
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: ChangZhuo Chen (陳昌倬) X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org * Package name: kfilt Version : 0.0.7 Upstream Author : Ryan Eschinger * URL : https://github.com/ryane/kfilt * License : Apache-2 Programming Lang: golang Description : filter Kubernetes resources kfilt is a tool that lets you filter specific resources from a stream of Kubernetes YAML manifests. It can read manifests from a file, URL, or from stdin. kfilt was primarily created to assist developers who are creating Helm charts or Kustomize bases. Often, when making changes, it is helpful to narrow down focus to a specific resource or set of resources in the output. Without kfilt, you might redirect output to a file for inspection in your text editor or to write complicated grep commands. kfilt makes it easy to filter the output to see just the resources you are currently interested in. Or, to exclude specific resources. You can also use kfilt to selectively apply (or delete) resources with kubectl. This package will be maintained under go team. -- ChangZhuo Chen (陳昌倬) czchen@{czchen,debian}.org http://czchen.info/ Key fingerprint = BA04 346D C2E1 FE63 C790 8793 CC65 B0CD EC27 5D5B signature.asc Description: PGP signature
Bug#1009673: RFA: swagger-core -- Java implementation of the OpenAPI Specification
Package: wnpp Hello, I would like to pass the maintenance of swagger-core to someone more motivated. The package is in relatively good shape, albeit in need to be updated to new upstream release. In addition, some modules are ignored. I initially packaged swagger-core as a dependency of swagger-parser, which I was interested due to my work with OpenAPI. If no one comes to adopt in a reasonable time frame, I will consider filing for RM. Package description from debian/control: swagger-core is an open source Java implementation of Swagger/OpenAPI, providing: . * swagger-models: OpenAPI specification Java implementation . * swagger-core: resolves (annotated) java POJOs into OpenAPI schemas, handles serialization/deserialization and provides an integration mechanism. . * swagger-jaxrs2: resolves JAX-RS (annotated) resources into an OpenAPI definition, and provides an integration mechanism. . * swagger-annotations: a set of annotations to declare and manipultate output generated by swagger-core, swagger-jaxrs2 and/or other projects. . * swagger-maven-plugin: provides a maven plugin to resolve an OpenAPI definition at build time (using swagger-jaxrs2). . * swagger-gradle-plugin: provides a gradle plugin to resolve an OpenAPI definition at build time (using swagger-jaxrs2).
