As mentioned in Bug #964947, I have a dhcpcd5 NMU waiting on Mentors.

  Description : Rime Input Method Engine schema data - Emoji

 RIME is the acronym of Rime Input Method Engine.
 .
 RIME is a lightweight, extensible input method engine supporting various
input
 schemas including glyph-based input methods, romanization-based input methods
 as well as those for Chinese dialects. It has the ability to compose phrases
 and sentences intelligently and provide very accurate traditional Chinese
 output. RIME's cross-platform core library is written in C++, and can work
 consistently on different platforms with OS-specific wrappers.
 .
 This package provides the emoji pinyin schema data of RIME.

This package will be part of the effort to migrate from
https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/brise to https://github.com/rime/plum by
splitting individual data packages and maintaining them individually. The new
binary package rime-data-emoji will replace old librime-data-emoji provided by
src:brise.

I plan to maintain this package under Debian Input Method Team:
https://salsa.debian.org/input-method-team/rime-emoji .

Thanks,
Boyuan Yang

This is a source repackaging of mistune to allow a coexistence of
mistune v 2 or more (in src:mistune) along with mistune 0.8.4 (in
src:mistune0), as reverse dependencies won't be able to move forward as
fast as one would expect.

This repackaging is the result of a discussion in bug 1003567.

* License : GPL-2+
  Programming Lang: GNU R
  Description : Random Generation Functionality for the 'spatstat' Family
 Functionality for random generation of spatial data in the 'spatstat'
 family of packages. Generates random spatial patterns of points
 according to many simple rules (complete spatial randomness, Poisson,
 binomial, random grid, systematic, cell), randomised alteration of
 patterns (thinning, random shift, jittering), simulated realisations of
 random point processes (simple sequential inhibition, Matern inhibition
 models, Matern cluster process, Neyman-Scott cluster processes, log-
 Gaussian Cox processes, product shot noise cluster processes) and
 simulation of Gibbs point processes (Metropolis-Hastings birth-death-
 shift algorithm, alternating Gibbs sampler). Also generates random
 spatial patterns of line segments, random tessellations, and random
 images (random noise, random mosaics). Excludes random generation on a
 linear network, which is covered by the separate package
 'spatstat.linnet'.

Subject: ITP: golang-github-sebdah-goldie -- Golden file testing for Go
(library)
Package: wnpp
Owner: Andreas Tille
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: golang-github-sebdah-goldie
  Version : 2.5.3
  Upstream Author : Sebastian Dahlgren
* URL : https://github.com/sebdah/goldie
* License : Expat
  Programming Lang: (C, C++, C#, Perl, Python, etc.)
  Description : Golden file testing for Go (library)
 Goldie is a golden file test utility for Go projects. It's typically
 used for testing responses with larger data bodies.
 .
 The concept is straight forward. Valid response data is stored in a
 "golden file". The actual response data will be byte compared with the
 golden file and the test will fail if there is a difference.
 .
 Updating the golden file can be done by running go test -update ./

  Description : community-inspired Perl::Critic policies

Perl::Critic::Community is a set of Perl::Critic policies to enforce the
practices generally recommended by subsets of the Perl community,
particularly on IRC.

Formerly known as Perl::Critic::Freenode.

Because this policy "theme" is designed to be used with zero configuration on
the command line, some duplication will occur if it is used in combination
with core Perl::Critic policies.

The package will be maintained under the umbrella of the Debian Perl Group.

It's a four in a row game, two players can play on the same machine or one can
play against the AI.

Made in Qt, originally for Android.

Since I now have a pinephone with mobian, I thought it might be a nice addition
to have, to the very few games available.

  Description : Stream and Genlex libraries for use with Camlp4 and Camlp5

 The camlp-streams package provides two library modules:
 * Stream: imperative streams, with in-place update and memoization of
   the latest element produced.
 * Genlex: a small parameterized lexical analyzer producing streams of
   tokens from streams of characters.
 The two modules are designed for use with Camlp4 and Camlp5. The
 Stream module can also be used by hand-written recursive-descent
 parsers.

The Stream and Genlex modules have been part of the OCaml standard
library for a long time, and have been distributed as part of the core
OCaml system. They will be removed from the OCaml standard library at
some future point, but will be maintained and distributed separately
in this package.

The latest version of camlp5 (8.00.03) depends on it.

This package will be maintained in the OCaml team.

Package Name: libsoup3
Version: 3.0.4
Upstream Author: Ximian, Novell, Red Hat, etc.
License: LGPL-2.1+
Programming Lang: C

Description: HTTP library implementation in C -- Development files
 It was originally part of a SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol)
 implementation called Soup, but the SOAP and non-SOAP parts have now been
 split into separate packages.
 .
 libsoup uses the Glib main loop and is designed to work well with GTK+
 applications. This enables GNOME applications to access HTTP servers
 on the network in a completely asynchronous fashion, very similar to
 the GTK+ programming model (a synchronous operation mode is also
 supported for those who want it).
 .
 Features:
  * Both asynchronous (GMainLoop and callback-based) and synchronous APIs
  * Automatically caches connections
  * SSL Support using GnuTLS
  * Proxy support, including authentication and SSL tunneling
  * Client support for Digest, NTLM, and Basic authentication
  * Server support for Digest and Basic authentication
  * Basic client-side SOAP support

Other Info
--
This library will be maintained by the Debian GNOME team. Packaging is at
https://salsa.debian.org/gnome-team/libsoup3

libsoup3 will be needed to fully build GNOME 43 later this year.

This is a complex major transition and libsoup2.4 will need to remain
in Debian for a while until all reverse dependencies are ported.

Migration Guide: https://libsoup.org/libsoup-3.0/ch02.html

Upstream porting status tracker:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libsoup/-/issues/218

Jeremy Bicha

Thanks for checking. I've added GPL and removed copies of style
files that are provided by texlive packages.

Please note that this package is a dependency of r-cran-qqconf which
was previously accepted and thus would be needed to build that package.

Kind regards and thanks for your work as ftpmaster

  Andreas.

I've rather removed the code copy in favour of the Debian
packaged nlohmann-json3-dev and re-uploaded.

Thanks for thorough checking

Bug#991859: r-bioc-basilisk_1.6.0+ds-1_amd64.changes REJECTED

2022-02-24 Thread Andreas Tille
Hi Thorsten,

Am Wed, Feb 23, 2022 at 04:00:08PM + schrieb Thorsten Alteholz:
> please also mention the MIT license of the test-dummy package.

Sorry but I disagree here. Its true that the file

   inst/example/inst/test_dummy/setup.py

contains the string

   license='MIT',

However, this is not really the license of the few lines of code but
just an example, how a setup.py could look like. Since I think
mentioning this as a separate license inside the whole package I decided
to upload as is for another review.

Kind regards and thanks for your work as ftpmaster

 Andreas.

Bug#1006399: O: php-htmlpurifier -- Standards-compliant HTML filter

2022-02-24 Thread Thorsten Glaser
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: t...@mirbsd.de, only...@debian.org
Control: affects -1 src:php-htmlpurifier

I hereby orphan the php-htmlpurifier package.

The package description is:
 HTML Purifier is an HTML filter that will remove all malicious code
 (better known as XSS) with a thoroughly audited, secure yet permissive
 whitelist and will also make sure your documents are standards
 compliant.

The package is used (in sid) by only civicrm-common so its maintainer
should take it. Otherwise I suggest removal.

Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: t...@mirbsd.de, pkg-php-p...@lists.alioth.debian.org

I hereby orphan the php-react-promise package.

The package description is:
 React/Promise also provides several other useful promise-related
 concepts, such as joining multiple promises and mapping and reducing
 collections of promises.
 It is part of ReactPHP.

The package is used only by the package composer so its maintainers
ought to take it over. Otherwise I suggest removal.

I'm wondering if you have any update on packaging or anything I can help
with. I would like to sunset src:pdf-redact-tools (now archived
upstream) in favor of dangerzone.

Thanks!
