  Description : an extension to xtensor offering bindings to BLAS and LAPACK

xtensor-blas is an extension to the header-only xtensor library,
offering bindings to BLAS and LAPACK libraries through cxxblas and
cxxlapack from the FLENS project.

xtensor-blas currently provides non-broadcasting dot, norm (1- and
2-norm for vectors), inverse, solve, eig, cross, det, slogdet,
matrix_rank, inv, cholesky, qr, svd in the xt::linalg namespace (check
the corresponding xlinalg.hpp header for the function signatures). The
functions, and signatures, are trying to be 1-to-1 equivalent to
NumPy. Low-level functions to interface with BLAS or LAPACK with
xtensor containers are also offered in the blas and lapack namespace.

Used by basix and dolfinx in the FEniCS project.

To be maintained alongside xtensor by the Debian Science Team.

Subject: ITP: python-leidenalg -- Python3 implementation of the Leiden
algorithm in C++
Package: wnpp
Owner: Andreas Tille
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: python-leidenalg
  Version : 0.8.3
  Upstream Author : Vincent Traag
* URL : https://github.com/vtraag/leidenalg
* License : GPL-3+
  Programming Lang: C
  Description : Python3 implementation of the Leiden algorithm in C++
 This package implements the Leiden algorithm in C++ and exposes it to
 Python. It relies on igraph for it to function. Besides the relative
 flexibility of the implementation, it also scales well, and can be run
 on graphs of millions of nodes (as long as they can fit in memory). The
 core function is find_partition which finds the optimal partition using
 the Leiden algorithm, which is an extension of the Louvain algorithm for
 a number of different methods. The methods currently implemented are
 .
  1. modularity,
  2. Reichardt and Bornholdt's model using the configuration null model
 and the Erdös-Rényi null model,
  3. the Constant Potts model (CPM),
  4. Significance and finally
  5. Surprise.
 .
 In addition, it supports multiplex partition optimisation allowing
 community detection on for example negative links or multiple time
 slices. There is the possibility of only partially optimising a
 partition, so that some community assignments remain fixed. It also
 provides some support for community detection on bipartite graphs.

Contrary to the description, gps-share can now also share the GPS stream
locally via a UNIX socket.

We want to use in PureOS to feed geoclue with it.

The package needs 2 dependencies which are not in debian yet: serial and
libudev.

PS. sending it from my MUA since it doesn't seem to have gone through from CLI

  Description : Library that uses Ansible modules to interact with
switching hardware

  Network-Runner is a python library that abstracts management and
  interaction with switching hardware to Ansible Networking. In theory
  it should work with any switch that has compatible modules included
  with Ansible Networking if the provider tasks are added to this
  library's Ansible role.

  This package provides a framework for declaring message schemas,
  a set of synchronous APIs to publish messages to AMQP brokers, a
  set of asynchronous APIs to consume messages, and services to
  easily run consumers.

  The latest version of pagure (5.13.2) needs pagure-messages, which needs

Bug#986715: ITP: python3-crochet -- Library that makes it easier to use Twisted from regular blocking code

2021-04-09 Thread Sergio de Almeida Cipriano Junior
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Sergio de Almeida Cipriano Junior
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-de...@lists.debian.org, sergios...@protonmail.com

* Package name: python3-crochet
  Version : 1.12.0
  Upstream Author : Itamar Turner-Trauring
* URL : https://pypi.org/project/crochet/
* License : MIT
  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : Library that makes it easier to use Twisted from regular
blocking code

  Crochet is a library that makes it easier to use Twisted from regular blocking
  code. Some use cases include:

   * Easily use Twisted from a blocking framework like Django or Flask.

   * Write a library that provides a blocking API, but uses Twisted for
   its implementation.

   * Port blocking code to Twisted more easily, by keeping a backwards
   compatibility layer.

   * Allow normal Twisted programs that use threads to interact with
   Twisted more cleanly from their threaded parts. For example, this
   can be useful when using Twisted as a WSGI container.

  The latest version of pagure (5.13.2) needs pagure-messages, which needs
  fedora-messaging, which needs crochet. My goal is to help package the new
  dependencies of pagure.
