I didn't realise there was already an ITP, so I built my own package, only to discover the work has already been done! I'm happy to push a small tweak to the packaging, so it runs the test suite during build, and then would it be OK if I upload it to NEW? It's been sitting on salsa for over a year now. Best wishes, Julian
Bug#978973: RFP: gnome-activity-journal -- Activity Journal for the GNOME desktop environment ( Powered by Zeitgeist 1.0.3 )
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: crvi...@gmail.com * Package name: gnome-activity-journal Version : 1.0.0 Upstream Author : crvi * URL : https://gitlab.gnome.org/crvi/gnome-activity-journal * License : GPL v3 Programming Lang: Python3 Description : Activity Journal for the GNOME desktop environment ( Powered by Zeitgeist 1.0.3 ) Description: GNOME Activity Journal is a tool for easily browsing and finding files that you worked on. It uses Zeitgeist to get information and metadata on what files you have accessed. It also keeps a chronological journal of all file activity and supports tagging and establishing relationships between groups of files. This package already was in Debian / Ubuntu repos. But, development halted in Nov 2011. It is now ported completely to GTK3 and Python3.8. Why is this package useful/relevant? It tracks file usage history and previewing.
