Now we have decided to package the BoringSSL fork inside AOSP as BoringSSL already states [1] that projects should rely on their own fork instead of the upstream one. Here is the updated description: * Package name: android-platform-external-boringssl * Version : 8.1.0+r23-1 * Upstream Author : Google * License : OpenSSL license, BSD, ISC * Programming lang: C, C++ * Description : Fork of OpenSSL that is designed to meet Google's needs * Homepage: https://android.googlesource.com/platform/external/boringssl * Salsa : https://salsa.debian.org/android-tools-team/android-platform-external-boringssl [1]: https://boringssl.googlesource.com/boringssl/+/HEAD/PORTING.md
Bug#903723: ITP: perl6-tap-harness -- TAP test harness for Perl 6
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Robert Lemmen * Package name: perl6-tap-harness Version : 20180415 Upstream Author : Leon Timmermans and others * URL : https://github.com/perl6/tap-harness6 * License : Artistic Version 2 Programming Lang: Perl 6 Description : TAP test harness for Perl 6 Provides a TAP based test suite and report printing, in and for Perl 6. TAP is the Test Anything Protocol used to Perl and other languages to communicate results between unit tests and the test harness. This package is critical for developing a Perl 6 ecosystem as most other Perl 6 modules will have it as a build dependency to run tests. There is a Perl 6 / rakudo packaging group and we plan to maintain all Perl 6 modules together.

Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Robert Lemmen * Package name: perl6-zef Version : 0.4.4 Upstream Author : Nick Logan, "tony-o" and others * URL : https://github.com/ugexe/zef * License : Artistive Version 2 Programming Lang: Perl 6 Description : Perl 6 package manager Zef is a Perl 6 package (module) manager. It can be used to download and install Perl 6 modules in your home directory or as a system-wide module. zef is useful as a central module of the Perl 6 ecosystem. Once more Perl 6 modules have been packaged, many people will use these packages instead of direct downloads via zef, but at least for development zef will remain important. There is a Perl 6 / rakudo packaging group and we plan to maintain all Perl 6 modules together.

Bug#902855: ITA: enigma -- A game where you control a marble with
Hi, I am working in the enigma package update (I am trying to adopt it). I see that this package don't have a VCS. Yes, it doesn't have one yet. Do you think that is a good idea add enigma to salsa? If it is true, could anyone create a salsa repo to commit it and give me access? As suggested, it would make most sense to do this in the larger debian games team project. When looking into bug fixes, it may be desirable to get some fixes from github, and contribute back compile fixes there: https://github.com/Enigma-Game/Enigma Because of fixes, it may be worth following git; there does not appear to be major development happening anymore, all fixes. Please note that it depends on libzipios++, which is orphaned: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=834214 I do not know if enigma can be made working with newer libzipios v2 (which doesn't appear to be packaged anyway). Upstream includes an old copy of zipios 0.x; which is not desirable because of security issues (any bug in zipios then needs to be fixed in enigmas copy, too). Because of this, we have been using a dfsg tarball, with zipios and the "main menu music" removed (see changelog). If I recall correctly, it was not clear what the license of the music was; and as a mod file, it may contain copyrighted samples... Regards, Erich
