Bug#889636: ITP: rt4-extension-resetpassword -- Reset Password extension (Request Tracker)
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Andrew Ruthven * Package name: rt4-extension-resetpassword Version : 1.04 Upstream Author : Best Practical Solutions * URL : https://metacpan.org/release/RT-Extension-ResetPassword * License : GPLv2 Programming Lang: Perl Description : Reset Password extension (Request Tracker) This extension allows users to get a reset password link in Request Tracker. RT doesn't come out of the box with an ability for users to reset their passwords if they forget them, or if they aren't set. This extension adds that ability. The intial packaging work has been carried but by myself for my employer. Ongoing maintenance will be by the Debian Request Tracker Group (of which I'm a member).

Control: tags -1 + help Re: Michael Papet 2018-02-03 <19536.1836909.1517637583...@mail.yahoo.com> > As of February 2018, Postgresql maintains an apt repository with Pgadmin4. I > installed it in Buster. Right, we uploaded the package there. The missing bit for Debian is that the tarball contains JavaScript bundles. These bundles consist mostly of the pgAdmin4 source files, but also some external JS libraries. The list of these external libraries is documented, so getting this part DFSG-compliant is feasible. Missing however is the transpiler (minifier) used for creating the bundles, "yarn". (There is a yarn in Debian which is something completely different.) Getting yarn into Debian will probably require a lot more effort, so there is still a lot of work to be done before pgAdmin4 can enter Debian unstable. Help welcome. Christoph

It provides a full set of output drawing functions, and handles keyboard and mouse input events. . Using this library, applications can . * Divide the terminal into a heirarchy of nested, possibly-overlapping rectangular windows * Render output content and react to input events independently in any window region * Use fully Unicode-aware string content, including non-BMP, fullwidth and combining characters * Draw line-art using Unicode box-drawing characters in a variety of styles * Operate synchronously or asynchronously via file descriptors, or abstractly via byte buffers * Recognise arbitrary keyboard input, including modifiers* * Make use of multiple terminals, if availble, from a single application . The following terminal features are supported (depending on terminal support): . * Many rendering attributes; bold, italics*, underline, reverse, strikethough*, alternate font* * 256 and 24-bit (16million) colours* * Mouse including mouse wheel and recognition of position reporting greater than 224 columns* * Arbitrary scrolling regions* This is going to be a dependency of neovim, once required functionality finishes being implemented. Bug#887490: interested, but...
Hello, I offer my intrest and assistance, but I am very unreliable regarding deadlines and promised work. Still, have been fixing it up for ourselves for quite a long time now, so I may do it in a shared repo as well. Also fiddled with v4 for a while but didn't finsh it; I'll check the offered URL. V4 would be pretty big improvement ofer v3 due to dropped hardlinking, which defeats all tries to rsync the backend pool beyond a given size. Peter

Bug#887394: Packaging Veyon (was: Re: Accepted italc 1:3.0.3+dfsg1-2 (source) into unstable)
Hi Tobias, On Do 25 Jan 2018 09:32:53 CET, Tobias Doerffel wrote: Hi Mike, FYI: Veyon 4.0.4 is available at https://github.com/veyon/veyon/releases/tag/v4.0.4 I integrated the possibility to build without x11vnc builtin but instead use an external x11vnc binary (do not get confused that the plugin is still called "builtin-x11vnc.so" but it should be notably smaller). Simply pass -DVEYON_X11VNC_EXTERNAL=ON to cmake. No need for applying a patch. 2018-01-18 13:42 GMT+01:00 Mike Gabriel : 2. Can kldap be used from Debian? Theoretically this would work however this would introduce a strong dependency on KDE while Veyon uses only a small part of the kldap library without any dependencies on KDE at all. Veyon's LDAP support plugin uses some (Qt-based) core classes of kldap but none of it's KDE-specific model and widget classes. For all non-KDE users this would unnecessarily install many KDE libraries and make them think Veyon is a KDE program (which it isn't). Let me check the deps tree myself here. I'll get back to you on this. Any news? I still encourage you to keep things as they are as everything else will make things unnecessarily complicated for everyone without any notable benefit for the end user (except saving a few KB disk space in case KDE is installed vs. many MB disk space additionally in every other case). (and thus also maintained by debian-openoff...@lists.debian.org). LibreOffice 6.0 removed that feature, and so I lost any interest of it. It right now is affected by a RC bug (doesn't build against glm 0.9.9, probably just needs to define -DGLM_ENABLE_EXPERIMENTAL - also in configure.ac - see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=888930 I already moved it from libreoffice-team to debian on salsa. Given there is no r-dep besides LibreOffice and the library is effectively unmaintained upstream, too (see https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/41994/) it probably should just be removed? Regards, Rene
Bug#838537: sponsoring Dia package
Hello Tomas, > Are you still willing to adopt the package? I'd be ready to sponsor you. Yes :) Should we change the status of the package? > As a first step I'd suggest to send your patches upstream [1], so that they > can be applied there. Nice! I will read the documentation about send patches to Dia project, and try to upload the patches. I will let you know when I finish it. Again, Thanks :)
