Please make sure it doesn't use the GEOS C API to avoid issues with GEOS 3.6.

I of course meant the C++ API, which the description suggests it doesn't use.
I've reviewed the code and it indeed only uses the C API, so there shouldn't be
an issue with GEOS 3.6 unlike some other C++ rdeps.

* License : Artistic or GPL-1+

  Description : Perl Moo role for creating updated copies of immutable
objects

MooX::Role::CloneSet is a role for immutable objects, providing an easy
way to create a new object with some modified properties. It provides
the cset() method that creates a new object with the specified changes,
shallowly copying all the rest of the original object's properties.

This package is needed as a dependency for the upcoming ITP of
my lintian-sort tool (https://devel.ringlet.net/textproc/lintian-sort/).
I intend to maintain it within the pkg-perl team.

G'luck,
Peter

Pod::Weaver::Section::Support is a Dist::Zilla plugin to that will
produce a hunk of pod that lists the various ways to get support for
your module.

If you have Dist::Zilla::Plugin::Repository enabled in your dist.ini, be sure
to check the repository_link attribute!

The generated support section is added ONLY to the main module's POD,
because it would be a waste of space to add it to all modules in your

Bug#844251: ITP: elpa-ido-ubiquitous -- use ido (nearly) everywhere

  Upstream Author : Ryan C. Thompson
* URL : https://github.com/DarwinAwardWinner/ido-ubiquitous
* License : GPL-3+
  Programming Lang: Emacs Lisp
  Description : use ido (nearly) everywhere

If you use the excellent `ido-mode' for efficient completion of file names
and buffers, you might wonder if you can get ido-style completion everywhere
else too. This package replaces stock emacs completion with ido completion
wherever it is possible to do so without breaking things.

elpa-completing-read+:

This package implements the `ido-completing-read+' function, which is a
wrapper for `ido-completing-read'. Importantly, it detects edge cases that
ordinary ido cannot handle and either adjusts them so ido *can* handle them,
or else simply falls back to Emacs' standard completion instead.

Bug#844253: RFP: glsof -- Two graphical frontends to lsof (Filemonitor and Queries)

2016-11-13 Thread Steinar Bang
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name: glsof
  Version : 2.4.1
  Upstream Author : Daniele Francesconi
* URL : http://glsof.sourceforge.net
* License : GPL v3
  Programming Lang: Java
  Description : Two graphical frontends to lsof (Filemonitor and Queries)

Description from home page:

Glsof is two separate utilities (Queries & FileMonitor) to the command
line utility Lsof by Vic Abell. Both applications are written in
Java. Another fundamental requirement is the command line Lsof that
has to be installed on your system. Lsof is supported by most of the
Unix/Linux systems including Mac Os X.

Filemonitor monitors the activity of files, processes and network
connections in ‘real time’ via lsof, returning them in a list. One of
its main features is the possibility to control a remote system
running it as “client” (included Windows systems) and a separate
“server” on the target system. More information here.

Queries manages multiple queries for Lsof, returning output in
different tables. Please note that work on a new version is in
progress at the moment. More information here.

Comment by issue reporter: The Filemonitor is the important part to package

I needed to look at a long lsof output today, and though "is there a
nice GUI for lsof?", googled and found this, which looks like a nice
and useful tool for a busy system manager or developer.

There was a package request for an earlier version of this program
that was written using C and GTk+ back in 2007, but that issue was
canceled since the program was undergoing a rewrite to Java.

The request to package for the C/GTk+ version of the program, is:
