Description : colour-managed conversion of images between RGB and CMYK

cmyktool is a utility for converting images between RGB and CMYK
colourspaces and inspecting the results. It's also possible to
preserve pure black and grey into K-only, and fill in the background
for a fake "overprint" effect.

Hi,

given the lack of interest and the fact that upstream seems to have
abandoned this project, I'm withdrawing this ITP.

  Description : hierarchical agglomerative clustering
Hac is a simple library for hierarchical agglomerative clustering. The goal of
Hac is to be easy to use in any context that might require a hierarchical
agglomerative clustering approach. You can use Hac by bundling Hac with your
application, and by implementing two interfaces:
  * Experiment (to tell Hac what to cluster), and
  * DissimilarityMeasure (to tell Hac how to compute the dissimilarity between
two observations).

Description : The Apache Solr PHP extension is an extremely fast, light-
weight, feature-rich library that allows PHP applications to communicate easily
and efficiently with Apache Solr server instances using an object-oriented API.

It effectively simplifies the process of interacting with Apache
Solr using PHP5 and it already comes with built-in readiness for
the latest features added in Solr 3.1. The extension has features
such as built-in, serializable query string builder objects which
effectively simplifies the manipulation of name-value pair request
parameters across repeated requests. The response from the Solr
server is also automatically parsed into native php objects whose
properties can be accessed as array keys or object properties without
any additional configuration on the client-side. Its advanced HTTP
client reuses the same connection across multiple requests and
provides built-in support for connecting to Solr servers secured
behind HTTP Authentication or HTTP proxy servers. It is also able to
connect to SSL-enabled containers. Please consult the documentation
for more details on features. Included in the source code are phpdoc
stubs that enable autocomplete of Solr classes and methods in IDE
 during development in userland.

Bug#744790: ITP: gnuais - Automatic Identification System Receiver

2014-04-14 Thread ruben . undheim
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: ruben.undh...@gmail.com

* Package name: gnuais
  Version : 0.3.0
Upstream Author : Ruben Undheim http://gnuais.sourceforge.net
* License : GPL-2.0+
  Programming Lang: C
Description : A tool for demodulating and decoding AIS messages using the
line input of the sound card.

gnuais is a tool for demodulating and decoding AIS messages using the line
input of the sound card. AIS messages are transmitted by marine vessels and
contain their position, velocity and other interesting information. The
messages may be saved to an mysql-database, forwarded as NMEA packets or
uploaded to an AIS web service. There is also a GUI distributed as a separate
package which is capable of displaying the vessels in an openstreetmaps GUI
using the libosmgpsmap2 library.

Bug#744252: RFP: cutz -- cuts similar to cut

2014-04-14 Thread Eriberto Mota
Hi Michael,

I am thinking to package cutz. I need a bit more time and some tests to
discover if the program is really very useful. I think I will make it in the
next weekend.

Can you release a version in GitHub? Is this an academic (and short life)
program or is this a real project?

Thanks for your work and have a nice week!

Regards,

Eriberto

Hi,

I've preliminary package available[1].
Be advised that there's a copyright problem,
ovirt-guest-agent/version.py has unknown license. Hope this can be
cleared.

Yedidyah, as I've read the Ubuntu deb has initscript problem that this
should fix.

Any feedback is appreciated.
