It takes as input a CUDF problem and computes the best solution according to a combination of optimization criteria chosen by the user. Basic criteria to be maximized or minimized may be selected from a list of pre-defined criteria, and these can be combined using using various aggregation operators. It relies on an Integer Programming solver or a Pseudo Boolean solver to achieve its task. The version of mccs distributed with this package uses cbc as underlying solving engine, however, mccs may also be used together with other solvers like Cplex, Gurobi, Lpsolver, Glpk, SCIP or WBO. -Ralf. --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: mccs Source-Version: 1.0-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of mccs, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: mccs_1.0-1.debian.tar.gz to main/m/mccs/mccs_1.0-1.debian.tar.gz mccs_1.0-1.dsc to main/m/mccs/mccs_1.0-1.dsc mccs_1.0-1_amd64.deb to main/m/mccs/mccs_1.0-1_amd64.deb mccs_1.0.orig.tar.gz to main/m/mccs/mccs_1.0.orig.tar.gz A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. It supports optimizing a linear objective function, subject to a set of linear constraints. The variables of the objective function and constraints are boolean, i.e. required to be 0 or 1. Bug#626702: ITP: libtrycatch-perl -- first class try catch semantics for Perl
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Jonas Smedegaard * Package name: libtrycatch-perl Version : 1.003000 Upstream Author : Ash Berlin * URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/TryCatch/ * License : Artistic or GPL-1+ Programming Lang: Perl Description : first class try catch semantics for Perl TryCatch aims to provide a nicer syntax and method to catch errors in Perl, similar to what is found in other languages (such as Java, Python or C++). The standard method of using "eval {}; if ($@) {}" is often prone to subtle bugs, primarily that its far too easy to stomp on the error in error handlers. It enforces HTML well-formedness with a simpler and stricter syntax, provides useful extensions and abstractions as well as facilities for adding new ones, all in a single unified approach that stays close to HTML itself. Some of Aephea's characteristics are a TeX-like syntax, dictionary stacks, iteration and a focus on styling via CSS. . PUD (Portable Unix Documentation) is shipped with Aephea. It provides mini-languages for authoring Unix manual pages and FAQ documents with output both in HTML and troff. . Both Aephea and PUD are written in zoem, a high-level macro/programming language with character filtering capabilities. . If you'd like to generate manpages, but don't like troff syntax, and find Perl's POD too limited, Aephea's PUD is likely useful for you. If you like your documents to be available in both PDF and HTML, but find Docbook XML too heavyweight (and aren't really happy with Docbook XML's baroque default tagnames), you'll like PUD. zoem >= 10-265-1 (in wheezy (testing) now) does not ship PUD, earlier zoem packages did. People relying on zoem's PUD now need to use aephea. The mcl (maintainer debian-med-packaging Cc'd) and uruk packages Build-Depend upon zoem. This module removes unnecessary whitespace from CSS. The primary requirement developing this module is to not break working stylesheets: if working CSS is in input then working CSS is output. The Mac/Internet Explorer comment hack will be minimized but not stripped and so will continue to function. This module understands space, horizontal tab, new line, carriage return, and form feed characters to be whitespace. Any other characters that may be considered whitespace are not minimized. These other characters include paragraph separator and vertical tab. For static CSS files, it is recommended that you minify during the build stage of web deployment. If you minify on-the-fly then it might be a good idea to cache the minified file. Minifying static files on-the-fly repeatedly is wasteful. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.8 APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) --- End Message --- --- Begin Message --- Source: libcss-minifier-perl Source-Version: 0.01-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of libcss-minifier-perl, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: libcss-minifier-perl_0.01-1.debian.tar.gz to main/libc/libcss-minifier-perl/libcss-minifier-perl_0.01-1.debian.tar.gz libcss-minifier-perl_0.01-1.dsc to main/libc/libcss-minifier-perl/libcss-minifier-perl_0.01-1.dsc libcss-minifier-perl_0.01-1_all.deb to main/libc/libcss-minifier-perl/libcss-minifier-perl_0.01-1_all.deb libcss-minifier-perl_0.01.orig.tar.gz to main/libc/libcss-minifier-perl/libcss-minifier-perl_0.01.orig.tar.gz A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached. Instead of relying on a specific user being logged in and running the daemon in his X session, the triggerhappy daemon attaches directly to the input device files and interprets the event data received. Upon noticing configured events, it executes the programs specified in its configuration. By doing so, it ensures that certain functions (like regulating volume, activating the network etc.) are available regardless of a specific user being logged in as well as makes them controllable on a headless system (e.g. an embedded media player system). The daemon supports hotplugging by employing a simple client program being called by udev. Bug#626705: ITP: funcparserlib -- Recursive descent parsing library based on functional combinators.
Package: wnpp Severity: wishlist Owner: Kouhei Maeda * Package name: funcparserlib Version : 3.9.2 Upstream Author : Andrey Vlasovskikh * URL : http://code.google.com/p/funcparserlib/ * License : MIT Programming Lang: Python Description : Recursive descent parsing library based on functional combinators. Parser combinators are just higher-order functions that take parsers as their arguments and return them as result values. Parser combinators are: . o First-class values o Extremely composable o Tend to make the code quite compact o Resemble the readable notation of xBNF grammars . Parsers made with funcparserlib are pure-Python LL(*) parsers. It means that it's very easy to write them without thinking about look-aheads and all that hardcore parsing stuff. But the recursive descent parsing is a rather slow method compared to LL(k) or LR(k) algorithms. . So the primary domain for funcparserlib is parsing little languages or external DSLs (domain specific languages). . The library itself is very small. Its source code is only 0.5 KLOC, with lots of comments included. It features the longest parsed prefix error reporting, as well as a tiny lexer generator for token position tracking. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#533589: bt747 needs to fix some items in order to be in Debian
FTR, I packaged bt747 but I think it doesn't fit in debian for now. Why? Here you have some reasons: * It uses some libraries that are not in Debian yet: swingx-ws.jar, jchart2d-3.1.0.jar and sanselan-0.97-incubator.jar. * It seems that one of the embedded jars (swingx-ws) is not the original library, but a modified one and I can't find the source code.. * In some files there is external source code with different licenses. I should examine them with more detail. * Embedded libraries are not updated. I patched some code to adapt it to Debian libraries. But I don't know if upstream plans to update jars, so Debian maintenance would be much easier. So, after working on it, I uploaded it to an unofficial personal 'home-made' repo (if you want to take a look, you're welcome) [0]: Now, I want to contact with upstream developer and see if we can collaborate to fix all items exposed above. [0] Repository: deb http://dunetna.probeta.net/debian testing main deb-src http://dunetna.probeta.net/debian testing main To add them in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/dunetna.list: $ echo -e "deb http://dunetna.probeta.net/debian testing main\ndeb-src http://dunetna.probeta.net/debian testing main" | sudo su -c "cat > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/dunetna.list" Or go directly to http://dunetna.probeta.net/debian to get what you want.
