dude, if thats the case then don't orphan it :) ... or at least tell
me offline that you want to use this O: to attract contributors rather
than giving it away.

In the end I still have the dream to eliminate one huge duplication of
work - which xulrunner is imo. If we could share sources packages here
and there it would be a huge win imo.

I have read the thread now a bit and I agree that listing all
copyright holders in debian/copyright is really a stupid; debian is
not maintaining and distributing a perfect list of IP owners for
source code; we distribute software. Period.

Bug#521175: O: slune -- 3D racing and car-crashing game

Package: wnpp

Coin,

As announced on the pkg-games-devel and python-modules-team

Since this announce (march 2008), noone has stepped to take care of
it. I am then orphaning it now.

Regards.

Bug#440617: progress update

2009-03-25 Thread Jan Dittberner
We made some progress since I changed this bug to an ITA.

The unfinished packaging is now available in DPMT's SVN repository [1] and can
be browsed [2].

I had some IRC discussions with ldaptor's upstream developer and got the
information that there is a git repository for ldaptor at [3] also available
via gitweb at [4].

[1] svn://svn.debian.org/python-modules/packages/ldaptor/trunk
[2] http://svn.debian.org/viewsvn/python-modules/packages/ldaptor/trunk/
[3] git://eagain.net/ldaptor.git
[4] http://eagain.net/gitweb/?p=ldaptor.git;a=summary

I hope to prepare a new upload soon and will start work on fixing upstream
issues (i.e. deprecation warnings) afterwards.

Regards
Jan

xulrunner is all but a duplication of work. It's even the contrary! At
most, it is a duplication of source tarball.

* Description : dtrx stands for "Do The Right Extraction." It's a
tool for Unix-like systems that takes all the hassle out of extracting
archives.

dtrx is basically the same as tar -zxf or tar -xjf except you don't have
to remember the flags for each file. But there's more to it than that.
You know those really annoying files that don't put everything in a
dedicated directory, and have the permissions all wrong? dtrx takes care
of all those problems for you, too. dtrx is simple and powerful. Just
use the same command for all your archive files, and they'll never
frustrate you again.
