* Package name: etoys
  Version : 3.9-12
Upstream Author : Viewpoints Research Institute
* URL : http://etoys.laptop.org/src/
* License : Apache
Description : A media-rich model, simulation construction kit and
authoring tool

Squeak Etoys was inspired by LOGO, PARC-Smalltalk, Hypercard,
and starLOGO. It is a media-rich authoring environment with a
simple powerful scripted object model for many kinds of objects
created by end-users that runs on many platforms, and is free
and open source. It includes 2D and 3D graphics, images, text,
particles, pres-entations, web-pages, videos, sound and MIDI, etc.
It includes the ability to share desktops with other Etoy users
in real-time, so many forms of immersive mentoring and play can
be done over the Internet
.
This is the Squeak image developed for the OLPC project.

It is a simple package that provide the fglrx kernel module compiled for
the last 2.6 kernel found in Debian. It compiles fglrx-kernel-src. There
would be no need of module-assistant to get (proprietary) 3D
acceleration working.

Description: Binary diff tool for signature-based differences
rdiff is a little like diff and patch all rolled into one, with support
for binary files. Since it takes advantage of the rsync remote-delta
algorithm, you do not need the source file in the same place as your
 destination file.
 .
To use it, you generate a "signature" of the original file and copy the
signature (which is very small) to the same location as the modified
file. Then you generate a "delta" which describes the changes required
to turn the source file into the modified file. The small delta file
can then be used to "patch" the original file, to transform it into the
 modified file.

Bug#486860: O: wprint -- Print any charset from web browsers and HtmlDoc

2008-06-20 Thread Eduardo Trápani

Hi,

The package has no open bugs, that's why I've done nothing with it. I guess I
should have made sure at least that Standards-version were up to date.

Anyway, I don't know if it's still being used. Nowadays Iceweasel with pango
and gtk will print anything.

Friendly, Eduardo.

This and the not acked NMU were the main reasons why I've orphaned it.
If you want to maintain it and keep it in Debian I'll be happy to
sponsor an updated package. Feel free to close the orphaning bug again then.
http://people.debian.org/~igloo/popcon-graphs/index.php?packages=wprint
looks like at least a few people are still using it.

Best regards,

Bernd

If you have preliminary packages or you'll be looking for a sponsor,
write me back. I'm interested about this package being in Debian.

- I've proposed is on debian-mentors and to webapps team.

And now ... nothing? Would anybody upload it ?

Description: The network packet altering stream editor
NetSED is small and handful utility designed to alter the contents of
packets forwarded thru your network in real time. It is really useful
for network hackers in following applications:
 .
   * black-box protocol auditing - whenever there are two or more
proprietary boxes communicating over undocumented protocol (by
enforcing changes in ongoing transmissions, you will be able to
test if tested application is secure),
 .
   * fuzz-alike experiments, integrity tests - whenever you want to test
stability of the application and see how it ensures data integrity,
 .
   * other common applications - fooling other people, content filtering,
etc etc - choose whatever you want to.
 .
It perfectly fits ngrep, netcat and tcpdump tools suite.

# darcsum.el is an independently maintained, third-party package, so it is not
appropriate to include it in the darcs package. This is instead a Request For
Package bug; reflagging accordingly.
