After packaging pcopy, I noticed that you already have
packaged it. I compared mine with yours and found some
diferences.

The size of your .diff.gz is 25613 and mine is 2605.
You don't need to depends on coreutils.

IMO, I think my package is slightly better. I just
upload it.

If you would like to be a comantainer, please let me
know.

Bug#386269: SVN access to debian/ directory available

2006-10-18 Thread Kapil Hari Paranjape
Hello,

svn access to the debian/ directory is available in

svn+ssh://svn.debian.org/svn/collab-maint/tex4ht

for those who wish to join in collaborative maintenance.

This does not give access to the .orig.tar.gz which can be obtained
from the Debian archives currently or by using the target
get-orig-source for debian/rules.

Please notify me by e-mail if you make changes as I'm still learning
the ropes regarding the use of svnmailer.

Regards,

Kapil.

That is correct. I also wrote a moderate manpage you might have wirtten too.

Sure. I'm still in the NEW queue, but I have write access to
svn://svn.debian.org/collab-maint/ so we can comaintain the package there or
you have any other VCS repo in mind ?

Did you talk to upstream so far ? I've tried to do so twice, but I've never
got a reply.

Bug#205475: Become Judgment Processing Professional/high income

2006-10-18 Thread fredrick webb
Hello Tom,

I was let go from my employment I held for what seemed like forever. Its
hard to thank you enough for starting me in this new profession. You have
given me a fresh start on life. Already taking home twice as much as I
realized in my old job.

I took delivey of a brand new Mercedes. Taking home 150,000US in 18 months.
Having a ball in this career. It is exciting and I am a hero to the judges
and to my clientele. What an outstanding profession to be in.

Carefully following exactly what your training recommends me to do, is
proceeding better than I ever dreamed possible. I go to the local court
house and locate all of the clientele I can handle.

I take advantage of your advanced reporting services to find all items
which can be garnished. Using your fill in the blank forms I send them thru
the post office to the appropriate firms. Then the funds arrive to my PO
Box. Its like magic. Every day is like Christmas.

I can take a holiday when ever I have the notion to do so. Germany and
Holland this year.

Please provide this letter to others. This profession is so massive it
needs many more of us assisting the courts and the people who have been
hurt.

Sincerely,
Justin A.NJ

This may well be you!

Description : Implements MP3 CD Burning HOWTO

This program implements the suggested methods outlined in the Linux MP3
CD Burning mini-HOWTO:
http://tldp.org/HOWTO/mini/MP3-CD-Burning/

This will burn a playlist (.m3u, XMLPlaylist or command line list) of
MP3s, OGGs, and/or WAVs to an audio CD. The ".m3u" format is really
nothing more than a list of fully qualified filenames. The script han-
dles making the WAVs sane by resampling if needed, and normalizing the
volume across all tracks.

If a failure happens, earlier stages can be skipped with the '-s' flag.
The file "tool-output.txt" in the temp directory can be examined to see
what went wrong during the stage. Some things are time-consuming (like
writing the WAVs from MP3s) and if the CD burn failed, it's much nicer
not to have to start over from scratch. When doing this, you will not
need the m3u file any more, since the files have already been built.
See the list of stages using '-h'.

Bug#393925: O: tex-guy -- miscellaneous utilities using DVIlib

2006-10-18 Thread Masayuki Hatta
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I don't use this anymore. The uptream is not dead, and new release
(1.3.1) is available. So, if you are interested, this is yours.

Package: tex-guy
Version: 1.2.4-5
Section: tex
Priority: optional
Architecture: i386
Depends: dvilib2, libc6 (>= 2.3.6-6)
Installed-Size: 172
Maintainer: Debian QA Group <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Description: miscellaneous utilities using DVIlib
This package contains several utilities useful for dealing with
 TeX DVI files.
 .
dvi2misc generates PostScript, PGM or images for EPSON
ESC/Page and Ricoh RPDL printers from a TeX DVI. It can be used as an
 DVI driver for those printers.
 .
dvifontlist displays a list of fonts used in a DVI file, while
dvispecials displays a list of 'special' commands in a DVI file.
dvipages shows the number of pages in a DVI file.
 .
xgdvi, spawx11 and spawg has been separated since they depend on X and/or
 GTK+ libraries.
 .
This is a part of the TeX-Guy distribution.

DateTime::Format::Builder creates DateTime parsers. Many string formats of
dates and times are simple and just require a basic regular expression to
extract the relevant information. Builder provides a simple way to do this
without writing reams of structural code.
 .
Builder provides a number of methods, most of which you'll never need, or
at least rarely need. They're provided more for exposing of the module's
innards to any subclasses, or for when you need to do something slightly
 beyond what I expected.

I announced to adopt flawfinder, but only really did it (i.e. renamed
the bug) yesterday. If you want to be the new maintainer go ahead, that
would be great! However, you'd have to check debian-mentors as Steve
suggested, I'm not available for sponsoring either...

Cheers, Uwe.

Why not just wait until you have some work to show? Make changes
to the package, then look for a sponsor on debian-mentors.

Failing that just get a sponsored upload with both of you listed.

Awesome. Does it have support for a Mona-compatible font, such as
xfonts-mona ?

This long description gives me no idea, that this package is for.
What is BBS?
It should be improved during your package build process.

Kindly regards,

Erik

Bug#393257: marked as done (ITA: gnuserv -- Allows you to attach to an already running Emacs)

2006-10-18 Thread Debian Bug Tracking System
Your message dated Wed, 18 Oct 2006 18:32:19 -0700

Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I request an adopter for the gnuserv package.

The package description is:
gnuserv allows you to attach to an already running Emacs. This
allows external programs to make use of Emacs' editing
capabilities. It is like GNU Emacs' emacsserver/server.el, but
 has many more features.
 .
You do not need this package if you use XEmacs; it already
includes gnuserv and gnuclient. If you want to use gnuserv with
both GNU Emacs and XEmacs, you will only be able to use the
alternative /usr/bin/gnuclient with one flavor of emacs; you will
have to use either gnuclient.xemacs or gnuclient.emacs for the
 other flavor.

Bug#394042: ITP: dnshistory -- Translating and storing of IP addresses from log files

2006-10-18 Thread Matthias Julius
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Matthias Julius <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

* Package name: dnshistory
  Version : 1.2
  Upstream Author : Stephen McInerney <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
* URL : http://www.stedee.id.au/dnshistory/
* License : GPL
  Programming Lang: C
Description : Translating and storing of IP addresses from log files

Provide a means for storing a history of DNS/Name changes for the IP Addresses
extracted from web log files. The major target being that multiple analyses of
older log files do not require re-lookups of IP Address to FQDNs, and
additionally
maintain the accuracy of the lookup as it was then and not as it is now.
