Bug#323689: Font not included on ming source
Hi. I'm making an official Debian package for the panel [1], and I was be able to compile the ming source using the 'hopefully' future official Debian package for ming [2] with only one problem: the operator_panel.pl file uses a 'fonts/Arial.fdb' file that is not present on the current panel tarball, so I had to download it from [3]. ¿Is it possible to add the missing font file on the panel client source so it can be totally usable after unpacking? this could make a lot easier to pack the panel for Debian (and maybe for other distros too). Thanks. Bug#337052: denyhosts is different to fail2ban
Hi Andrew, I would appreciate if denyhosts would be packaged for debian. I use this tool for a short time and I'm quite satisfied with this tool and it seems to be the only tool which uses the tcp-wrapper to block unwanted connections. btw: there is already a deb by Marco Bertorello see at http://denyhosts.sourceforge.net/faq.html#1_12 but this package is not in debian. -- Jörg Friedrich There are only 10 types of people: Those who understand binary and those who don't.
Bug#349064: ITP: macromedia-flash-installer -- installer for Macromedia Flash Plugin
So, one conclusion is clear : Nobody wants a second installer for the Macromedia Flash Plugin. Efforts should go to flashplugin-nonfree. Thanks for the comments leading to this consensus. Less clear to me is "what now". The maintainer of flashplugin-nonfree seems to be busy with other things. Would an NMU be appropriate now ? Yes, if you're following the procedures, a NMU would be fine, as long as you're not doing things against the (expressed or reasonably deduceable) wishes of the maintainer. --Jeroen -- Jeroen van Wolffelaar [EMAIL PROTECTED] (also for Jabber & MSN; ICQ: 33944357) http://Jeroen.A-Eskwadraat.nl -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
