No, that would mean that you haven't configured X correctly. Try to run
'dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86' and reconfigure it all again.

Probably none, you might try to read the init.d-script, or you can try
to configure courier...

Yes, make the line as follows:

//WILLEM-JAN/muziek /muziek smbfs ro,uid=1000,gid=1000,username=X,password=X

But, this does take a security issue with it. Your password is readable
in your fstab.

Well, then you 'apt-get install' xserver-xfree86 and finish the
configuresteps.

Also, check if 'xbase-utils, xfonts-base, xfonts-100dpi,
xfonts-100dpi-transcoded' are alle installed. You might want to install
gdm/xdm or whatever too.

man fstab says:

Instead of giving the device explicitly, one may indicate the
(ext2 or xfs) filesystem that is to be mounted by its UUID or
volume label (cf. e2label(8) or xfs_admin(8)), writing
 LABEL=  or UUID=,  e.g., `LABEL=Boot' or
 `UUID=3e6be9de-8139-11d1-9106-a43f08d823a6'. This will make the
system more robust: adding or removing a SCSI disk changes the
disk device name but not the filesys# tem volume label.

So what you do, giving the directory is not correct. It seems that you
can only give the above mentioned.

But I really don't know for sure.

It seems that your kernel is not supporting DHCP, which it did first.

Read /var/log/daemon.log (i believe) to see the solution.

If you know how to make a new kernel, try acpi. [1] This gives you the
ability to just press the powerbutton, and it will halt.

Yes, perhaps your root-disk is not /dev/hda2 but another partition? I

I've had the same problem.

It doesn't bother me anymore since I have mounted my disks as ext2. I
thought it was an error in 'journal.c', line 18xx or so.

Put this is you ~/.fluxbox/init

Remenber that Fluxbox is strange with the configfiles, so you have to
add it when Fluxbox is *not* running.

Yes, the configurationfile. But, you think that it's not good to
manually add an emailaddress. So that's you choice.

You could write a script that does it for you, but that depends on your
coding-skills.

In Mutt, you can do '|' 'spammassassin -W'. Mutt will then pipe the
message through spamassassin, which should whitelist it.

That's all I know.

X tries to start, but there's not enough memory to support the modes you
told him to use.

You could try a resolution of 640x480, but it's probably better to try
to set you "DefaultDepth" to a lower value.
