M$ Curse

2003-01-25 Thread Jernej Zidar
After a Windows reinstall, I have lost lilo. How do I install lilo or any
bootloader, so I will be able to access my linux system?

As the system crash was not planned i have no floppy with my custom kernel
etc. The only thing i have is the Debian 3.0r0 CD set.

the linux system was running a 2.4.18 custom kernel and XFree4.0

Thanx for any help.

Reiserfs partition crashed

2003-09-01 Thread Jernej Zidar
Yesterday my 40GB reiserfs partition crashed. All of a sudden she wasn't
there any more.

If I do a fdisk /dev/hdb command, it shows nothing.

Is there a way to recover the data? I haven't yet created a new partition so
the data are still there (hopefully).

Thanks.

Well, basically I would like to filter the spam I receive on my pop3
account.I'm using Evolution as my email client without fetchmail.

After a kernel recompile (the first time I forgot to enable ACPI), the

a configuration that did work before.

Help. Thanks.
