Bug#293716: knode: New Posts are counted wrong

2005-02-05 Thread Christian Frommeyer
Package: knode
Version: 4:3.3.2-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

knode behaves strange here in the way it counts new posts. In one group it
displays a -1 as actual number of new posts and displays the groupname in
bold letters.
Thanks in advance for all help

Bug#548614: [kaddressbook] Storing distribution list does not work

2009-09-27 Thread Christian Frommeyer
Package: kaddressbook
Version: 4:4.3.1-2
Severity: serious

Today I tried to assemble a distribution list in kaddressbook which worked fine
until I reopened kaddressbook. Then I recognized that kaddressbook had not
saved the list. I tried various times and also removed the (empty) default
address book but I couldn't convince kaddressbook to save my distribution
lists.

Any help welcome
Christian

Well, I don't care so much. Actually I probably should have rated the bug
grave as it causes data loss (saved data is not saved and therefor lost). But
if you're more comfortable with important I'll agree to that to as long as the
bug is fixed...

Bug#561592: [kdm] Confirm 561592

2009-12-21 Thread Christian Frommeyer
Package: kdm
Version: 4:4.3.4-1

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
I encountered this bug as well. After the first login kdm vanishes and
reappears. At this time two kdm processes are in the process table. In my
setup there is no extra home partition. Everything is on one large partition.
Thus there cannot be an issue with late mounting. However I found several
error messages in the log file. I have attached the part that I think was
produced in conjunction with the error (why is there no time stamp in the
log...).
If I can provide any further information on the issue please drop me a note.

Regards Chris

Bug#367528: kdebase: System Crash on Start new Session

2006-05-16 Thread Christian Frommeyer
Package: kdebase
Version: 4:3.5.2-2
Severity: normal

Hi,

I tried to start a new KDE-Session via K-Menu "Change User" (or what ever it
reads in english) -> Start new Session.
I expected to get a new login screen on VT10 (KDE is on 7 and console-log on
8 and 9) but what I got was a complete crash of the system (keyboard and
mouse were dead open ssh sessions where disfunctional). I found nothing in
the logs so far. But it's reproduceable.

Greetings and thanks for all help to come

I suffer from the same bug reported by Martin Emrich. After loosing
connection to the imap-Server (in this case today it was a reboot) kmail is
not able to reconnect.

Expected behaviour:
If there is no Connection to the Server:
timeout
reset connection
try to reconnect on request

Bug#397922: kmail: undocumented functionality change in "reply to".

2006-11-10 Thread Christian Frommeyer
Package: kmail
Version: 4:3.5.5.dfsg.1-1
Severity: normal

Hi there,

I was just very surprised to see a reply I intedndet to sent to the author
of the mail I replyed to apear on the whole list. I am pretty sure that
kmail 3.5.4 behaved diffrent. In details:

in earlier versions of kmail hitting the "r" key caused kmail to do an
"ordanary" reply to the address present in from or reply-to header. Hitting
the "l" key did a controled list-reply.
Now it seems like kmail also does a list-reply if I hit "r" and there is a
list-post header present which might be surprising (or not).

At least I'd like to have this change documented at a prominent position but
I'd rather prefere have it as it used to be. When I want to do a list-reply I
know best myself.

so long
Chris

Bug#397922: kmail: undocumented functionality change in "reply to".

Well I would have said the last 3.5.4 but that's not true as I just
checked. My wife uses still 3.5.2(1.9.1) which already behaves like
3.5.5(1.9.5).
Perhaps someone could check with the sarge version just to be sure.

Bug#274843: kmail toolbars

2004-10-04 Thread Christian Frommeyer
Package: kmail
Version: 4:3.3.0-3
Followup-For: Bug #274843

The same Problem here. After updating the Toolbar in Kmail is reverted
to the default. The same with the Apply-Filter Menu. After clicking on
ok in the filter-configuration everything is ok but after changing the
kontact-component for example to knode and back the toolbar is corrupt
again.

Greetings Chris

Bug#272505: kmail: Mails in IMAP-folders are not displayed

2004-09-20 Thread Christian Frommeyer
Package: kmail
Version: 4:3.3.0-2
Severity: important

Hi,

I just encountered Problems reading Mails in IMAP-Folders.
Sometimes if I select a Mail in the list (top-right hand side)
it would not show up in the message area (bottom right hand side).
selecting another Mail (which in some cases does not show up either)
and reselecting the previous one brings up the message.

I coukd reproduce this only for IMAP-folders but not always.

Greetings
Chris

Bug#281628: kmail: crashes when filtering more then one mail

2004-11-16 Thread Christian Frommeyer
Package: kmail
Version: 4:3.3.1-1
Severity: normal

When I try to manualy apply my filters to mor then one mail (i.e I marked
several mails and press Ctrl+J) kmail crashes reproducably. It doesn't
if I selected only one single mail.

the mail are on an IMAP-Server and the filters should invoke annoyance-filter
to get rid of spam.

I realised this bug just after upgrading from 3.3.0-2 to 3.3.1-1

Thanks in advance for all help
Chris

Bug#319862: KNode: After posting an Article the Mouse-Pointer is not switched back to a pointer

2005-07-25 Thread Christian Frommeyer
Package: knode
Version: 4:3.3.2-3
Severity: minor

Hi Folks,

when I post an article with knode (doesn't matter wether with knode only
or with knode as a part of kontact) the mouse-pointer stays in
"clock-mode" while the mouse-pointer is placed over the
application-window. It behaves normal in all other apllications but not
in knode/kontact which is a bit annoying.
I would expect to have a normal Pointer back after the Process of
sending is completed.

Greetings Chris
