the missing file is in the following package:

Bug#756497: qtcreator crashes on start libGL error: pci id for fd 19: 80ee:beef

2014-08-05 Thread Petr Bena
You are right, I downloaded qt from official pages and qtcreator from
there doesn't work as well, so it must be something unrelated to
qtcreator (probably that openGL issue, but I did just update of
system, so probably some other package is broken)

I didn't install software based renderer because it did conflict with
huge number of other packages, however the virtual machine has 2d and
3d acceleration enabled so it /should/ work. At least it did before.

Given that this is probably not related to qtcreator I am including 2
log files, one is grep of qt and other one is full dpkg log

Right. So, at least provide us with what you
updated. /var/log/dpkg.log should have that information (or
/var/log/dpkg.log.1 or related). If you don't know how to find that
information, you can run

  zgrep 2014-07.*qt dpkg.log* > /tmp/log

and then attach the /tmp/log file.

Also, did you install the software based renderer package? Did it
help?

PS. No, Qt Creator is not unstable in Sid. I use it everyday.

Sorry but here we come to the end of this bug. The problem lies on
virtualbox's OpenGL stuff. Yesterday I read a similar problem also in
virtualbox in the qt-interest mailing list. It wa

Bug#757161: qtwebkit-opensource-src: Does not link rt on kfreebsd* and hurd

2014-08-05 Thread Scott Kitterman
Source: qtwebkit-opensource-src
Version: 5.3.1+dfsg-2
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable (causes other packages to FTBFS)

>From the qtwebkit-opensource-src build log on kfreebsd-amd64 (it is the same
on kfreebsd-i386 and hurd-i386):

dpkg-shlibdeps: warning: symbol shm_unlink used by

debian/libqt5webkit5/usr/lib/x86_64-kfreebsd-gnu/libQt5WebKit.so.5.3.1 found in
none of the libraries

This causes problems. For example, from the pyqt5 build log on kfreebsd-amd64
(it is also the same on kfreebsd-i386 and hurd-i386):

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-kfreebsd-gnu/4.9/../../../x86_64-kfreebsd-gnu/libQt5WebKit.so:

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-kfreebsd-gnu/4.9/../../../x86_64-kfreebsd-gnu/libQt5WebKit.so:
 undefined reference to `shm_open'

These are both posix symbols in librt on linux. qtwebkit-opensource-src does
have -lrt on linux, but not on non-linux archs.

Bug#757169: qtdeclarative-opensource-src: Add symbolset for ppc64el

2014-08-05 Thread Breno Leitao
Source: qtdeclarative-opensource-src
Version: 5.3.1-3.1
Severity: normal
Tags: patch
User: debian-powe...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: ppc64el

Dear Maintainer,

Currently qtdeclarative-opensource-src doesn't build on ppc64el machines
because it fails to compare the expected symbols.

The full build log could be found at:

http://ftp.unicamp.br/pub/ppc64el/debian/buildd-upstream/build_logs/logs/qtdeclarative-opensource-src_5.3.1-3_ppc64el.build

This is a patch that set the ppc64el symbols (equals to ppc64 in this case).

Thank you,
Breno

Hi Werner! Interestingly enough I haven't seen this behaviour on my proxy-
impaired network. Non the less I'm going to check tomorrow again.

I don't know for sure it this is a KDE or Qt bug, but I think the best way to
solve this will be reverting the change if needed.

I'll ask the KDE maintainers to see what they think.

Kinds regards and thanks a lot for your feedback, Lisandro.
