Hello Niccolo,

This is assuming that sudo is configured that way, no ? Debian systems do not
have to
use sudo for superuser privileges.

The issue is that su-to-root need to know whether it must use kdesudo or kdesu,
and neither PAM nor sudo will tell that.

In GNOME, gksu handles both root-passwordful and root-passwordless systems
through a
gconf setting, so this is less of an issue.

Cheers,

If autodetection of kdesudo or kdesu is a problem, we can skip
the autodetect and just add a "kdesudo" case.

Then the user can define SU_TO_ROOT_X='kdesudo' in his
~/.su-to-rootrc preference file.

This is my change to su-to-root:

$ diff /usr/bin/su-to-root.dist /usr/bin/su-to-root

Bug#602347: kspread: automatically selects unrelated file name on "save as"

2010-11-03 Thread Flavio Stanchina

Package: kspread
Version: 1:2.2.1-3
Severity: normal

I tried to save a .ods file as .csv; as soon as I selected the .csv file
type, kspread automatically changed the file name to an unrelated .csv
file I had in the same directory, while I was expecting it to change the
extension on the file name that the document was already using (every
other program I ever used works this way).
