Bug#513674: kdebase-workspace: please tighten build-dep on libnm-util-dev
Package: kdebase-workspace Version: 4:4.2.0-1 Severity: important Currently kdebase-workspace build-deps on network-manager-dev (>= 0.7) and libnm-util-dev (which will pull 0.6.6) This is not good. I'd suggest to bump the build dependency on libnm-utils-dev to (>= 0.7) to make sure it also compiles against the 0.7.0 version of network-manager (from experimental). Afaik the 0.7 networkmanager backend of solid is the one which is actively worked on. Bug#513643: systemsettings: Missing dependency?
Thanks Sune! It worked, because after running it, I get some configuration category icons in the systemsettings window. However, the settings for file associations only appeared after installing kdebase-bin. I had to re-run kbuildsycocoa4 after installing it, because otherwise there was no change. So I guess this can be closed if the patch will fix it for sure. Bug#513734: kdebase-workspace: locking the screen is not working if kdm is not installed
