Bug#437354: libqt4-dev: Put qmake into its own package

2008-02-08 Thread Evgeni Golov
Hi,

are there any updates on this? I maintain pokerth which needs qmake4,
libqt4-core and libqt4-gui, but not -sql, -qt3support etc.
At the moment it build-depends on libqt4-dev which fetches way too much
stuff in during building, what is annoying :)

Regards
Evgeni

Package: klaptopdaemon
Version: 4:3.5.8-1
Severity: normal

The battery status sys-tray no longer shows up, and the kcontrol settings
related to the battery status is not working correctly any longer. It
says to enable ACPI, but it is enabled and it worked fine before. The
problem something else: that /proc/acpi/battery no longer exists in kernel
2.6.24. I refer to bug #463611 for more information. The gist of it is that
it is now /sys/bus/acpi/drivers/battery/PNP0C0A:00/power_supply:BAT0 instead,
if I understood correctly.

Best regards,
Torquil Sørensen

serious? please justify.

And no need to duplicate upstream bugzilla in debian bts.

But quite nice you actually *once* tried to explain ways to reproduce. (by the
way - it is already reported against kde3 konqueror as well)

Bug#464700: konqueror: segfault in Save As download dialog

2008-02-08 Thread Marcus Better
Package: konqueror
Version: 4:4.0.1-1
Severity: serious

Konqueror crashes repeatably when pressing "Save" in the file name
dialog when downloading a file from SourceForge.

Specifically, visit this page:

https://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=102670&package_id=110097

and click on the link for mobicents-src-1_2_0_BETA1.zip. In the Save
As dialog is shown, accept the suggested file name. This causes the
crash.

Bug#464729: /etc/kde3/kdm/XSession fails to detect some shells

2008-02-08 Thread Jan Hudec
Package: kdm
Version: 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-7
Severity: minor

Hello,

The /etc/kde3/kdm/XSession script is supposed to run appropriate login script
for user's login shell. However, not all shells available in Debian are
covered. My particular case is "/bin/zsh-beta", but my /etc/shells has more
entries (ksh, es, esh, sash) which might or might not be useful to take care
about.

Thanks,
Jan

this as a bug, but KDE 4.0.0 is somewhat buggy, so I hoped to be able to

That's not a proper fix though. klaptdaemon has to be updated to support
the new /sys interface. The /proc interface will go away, sooner or
later (april, according to maks attems).

It is already reported with a patch elsewhere. will be included within this
month.

How to boot from the cable from Photoshop 6000?

First of all you either must send the utility to a firewall of a ADSL window,
or can never mount a minitower.

kdebase-workspace 4.0.1 as well as some other kde 4.0.1 packages are not
installable on the i386 architecture. Please don't be mad at me for reporting
this as a bug, but KDE 4.0.0 is somewhat buggy, so I hoped to be able to
install some updates. Thank you for your hard work so far.

You have to wait some days until the i386 buildd builds the packages.
Experimental buildd network is slower than unstable's one.

Hi,

I'm trying to run crossvc under Sid. When launching the application, it just
outputs a "Floating point exception" :

When launched with valgrind, there is some interesting information :

I don't know if there have been changes in libqt3 or other dependencies of
crossvc that can cause the bug ...

I can provide more information if needed.

Thanks

This bug is caused by the failure of the fglrx driver to return display height
and width values (in millimetres).
This causes divide by 0 segfaults in Qt applications.

Bug#455283: It works for me.

2008-02-08 Thread Raúl Sánchez Siles
  Hello:

I don't know about you for me flash is working correctly on amd64 and almost
correctly on i386.

I have kdelibs and kdebase 4:3.5.8.dfsg.1-7 on unstable with
flashplugin-nonfree 1.1.3.

I would like to hear any feedback to check if this is finally solved.

BTW, I've known that upstream included a yet newer patch solving some minor
issues, maybe we could see it on 3.5.8..dfsg.1-8

  Thanks.
