2007-07-30 Thread yellow protoss
Package: konqueror
Version: 4:3.5.5a.dfsg.1-6
Severity: normal

Dear Sir,

There is lot of filebrowser but there level is not so great as konqueror.
Konqueror has too search function in. Ok, the problem is as follows:
I have a folder of images, I double click and see my picture in. Then, press
backspace and get back to the beginning of the folder. I would like to
return where i was browsing exactly and with no searching during hours.

Concerning the scrolling, can it be vertical ?? I dont like horizontal
scrolling when there is too much files to see. A bit like in windows.

thank you a lot

Sincerely

Bug#435262: uic3 and lib missing in QTDIR

2007-07-30 Thread koos vriezen
Package: libqt4-dev
Version: 4.3.0-4

I assume the /usr/share/qt4 dir is there to mimic the original qt sources.
i needed such a dir for a --with-qtdir option, but had to manually add
a link to /usr/lib and /usr/bin/uic3.
If my assumption is correct, than I thing this is missing in this directory.

Best regards,

Koos Vriezen

libqt4-dev: unable to install, strange "broken packages"

2007-07-30 Thread Eugene V. Lyubimkin

Have a good day.
My system is debian lenny, i686.

apt-get refusing installation of package libqt4-dev with following messages:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:

 Depends: libpng12-0-dev

Before it I successfully executed "apt-get update". All dependency
packages are accessed right. Then I manually installed all of these
needed packages, but this error remains. Where is my mistake?

Bug#435270: ksnapshot: configurable shortcuts for capture modes & actions

2007-07-30 Thread Thomas Kreft
Package: ksnapshot
Version: 4:3.5.7-2
Severity: wishlist

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---

Hi,
ksnapshot would be even better if the user could configure keyboard
shortcuts for different actions.

For example, I'd like to be able to configure the shortcut
++ to make a screenshot with Capture mode = Region
and "copy to clipboard". Upon pressing the shortcut, ksnapshot should just
enter the appropriate mode, so that I can just choose the region I want to
capture, and the outcome would be automatically copied to the Clipboard so
I can paste it into another app. ksnapshot should remain silent in the
background the whole time.

I recently wrote a howto which required a lot of small screenshots - the
above feature would have saved me a great deal of time :) Thanks for
consideration!

This patch is already applied in koffice 1.6.3. Raphael, maybe you could
submit your problem again to upstream?

override is incorrect then please reply to this mail and explain why.

Package: libqt4-dev
Version: 4.3.0-4
Severity: normal

Hi,

On the PyQt mailinglist it was just pointed out that the missing
link_prl option for CONFIG causes PyQt's configuration utility to fail.
The reason is that when the option is removed a define is not set by
qmake (-DQT_SHARED in the DEFINES variable in the generated Makefile)
which may cause all kinds of weird side effects because Qt itself uses
that define to find out wether its built as shared or static lib.

I don't have an idea right away how to fix that, except adding

DEFINES += -DQT_SHARED

in qmake.conf along with the removal of link_prl. I do understand that
link_prl cannot be added again as it makes qmake pull in uneeded extra
libaries when linking to certain Qt modules.

The current debian pyqt package is not affected by this as the 4.2
version didn't check for QT_SHARED, it seems to be added after that
version was released.

Oops, just sent a message to this bug report instead of an other one.
Anyways, I'll try to open a bug report tomorrow (if nobody else does
it before I do =) ) on bugs.kde.org.
