Bug#379912: kodo: Incorrectly described as useless

The package description incorrectly describes
kodo as useless. It is not. When looking at

well, one could argue you just demonstrated it's useless ;)
but btw it's merely a wishlist item.

for the record, current description is:

Description: mouse odometer for KDE
KOdometer measures your desktop mileage. It tracks the movement of your mouse
pointer across your desktop and renders it in inches/feet/miles! It can
do cm/metres/km too. Its most exciting feature is the tripometer, and its
 utter uselessness.
 .
This package is part of KDE, and a component of the KDE toys module.
See the 'kde' and 'kdetoys' packages for more information.

wich is the introduction § of the kodo handbook.

Bug#379956: O: gtk-qt-engine -- theme engine using Qt for GTK+ 2.x

2006-07-26 Thread Christoffer Sawicki
Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I'm hereby orphaning the gtk-qt-engine package because of loss of
interest and free time. Not being a Debian developer has also made the
maintainership a bit troublesome for me.

I've asked the Debian developers I know if they were willing to adopt
the package, but I could not find anyone that was.

The software has some quirks (see the BTS) but upstream recently released
a new version (after a very long time of inactivity) that supposedly fixes
some things. Also, the package in Ubuntu has got some tweaks that could be
useful. It would be nice if the adopter had some GTK+ and Qt skills, but
it's definitely not a requirement.

Cheers,

Thanks, this doesn't affect stable, at least not with the reproducer
above.

Cheers,
Moritz
