Bug#871760: sgmltools-lite: please transition from jadetex to texlive-formats-extra

2017-08-10 Thread preining
Package: sgmltools-lite
Version: 3.0.3.0.cvs.20010909-20
Severity: normal

Dear maintainer,

your package sgmltools-lite declares a relation onto
jadetex
which has been a transitional package for one and a half years
by now.

Please update your package dependencies to use the correct
texlive-formats-extra

We will remove `jadetex' in the near future, but will continue
providing it from texlive-formats-extra for some more time

Thanks for your cooperation

Imminent so name bump in libkpathsea

2009-12-09 Thread Norbert Preining
Dear all,

you get this email becasue you are maintaining one or more packages
depending on libkpathsea4. (For Debian QA Group: bibtool).

We are planning to upload TeX Live 2009 packages to unstable rather
soon, which will bring libkpathsea.so.5 and the new -dev.

These packages are already in experimental. It would be nice if you could
check whether your package(s) still builds with libkpathsea.so.5 (what
is expected) or if there are any problems.

Please inform us at debian-tex-ma...@lists.debian.org regarding any problems.

Thanks a lot and all the best

deb-src http://www.tug.org/texlive/Debian/ lmodern/

But please report back ...

THis name change is currently under discussion in the tex-live
(upstream) mailing list with the original authors participating. As soon
as we have come to a conclusion there it will be executed in Debian.

Damned, you are right, I mixed this. So we have
aleph(texlive-omega,tetex-bin) vs. aleph(aleph)
and
mex(texlive-lang-polish) vs. mex(octave)

True, I already have removed the conflict some time ago, but forgot it

Bug#816517: ulem.sty from texlive-generic- recommended

2016-03-09 Thread Norbert Preining
Hi all,

> Is there a strong reason you moved ulem.sty into texlive-generic- recommended
> ?

It was *never* moved there, the problem is during the incorporation
of the separate packages the one dependency on
texlive-generic-recommended
got lost. ulem.sty was *always* in tl-generic-recommended.

The fixed package is already in preparation, as I wrote already.

> kpathsea: Running mktexfmt pdfjadetex.fmt

THis is again a failure of the dependency. Sorry about that.

Either add temporarily texlive-generic-recommended as dep/build-dep,
or wait until I have uploaded the new package.

Hi all,

Which has happened just now, so should be available in a day.
Simply closing the FTBFS after a pbuilder/cowbuilder check should
suffice. No need for new uploads.

Or you reassign to texlive-htmlxml and merge with the closed bug
816584 where exactly this probelms was described and explained.

Thanks

It seems that something in the interface with hyperref has changed.
Unfortunately the docbook/jadetex stuff is rather cryptic to deciper and
hardly possible to get a *minimal* example.

If someone can send me a minimal (as far as possible) input file, and
the list of commands necessary to run (openjade/doxy/whatever) I can
look into the old/new code and contact the upupstream authors.

Best
