Bug#294221: prcs: FTBFS (amd64/gcc-4.0): no matching function for call to '__gnu_cxx::stdio_filebuf

2005-02-09 Thread Rafael Laboissiere
Andreas,

Thanks for this bug report and also for Bug#287958. You perhaps noticed
already that the prcs package is orphaned (see Bug#293805[1]), so I will not
react to bug reports unless there is a release-critical problem and the fix
is trivial.

That said, if you think you can take over the package maintenance, please do
it. I would sponsor you if necessary.

Bug#406815: jedstate: jed doesn't read scripts inside /etc/jed-init.d/

severity 406815 serious
thanks

I am raising the severity of this bug report to serious, such that the bug
will become RC and we have a chance of getting it fixed in etch.

The funcionalities of the jedstate package have been superseded by the
gdbmrecent module included in the jed-extra package. Besides that, the
jedstate package has been orphaned half a year ago and there is no sign of
upstream activity since ages.

Instead of simply requesting the removal of jedstate from the Debian
distribution, the Debian JED Group [1] will adopt the package and transform
it into a transition package to allow users migrate from jedstate to
gdbmrecent.
