This is also my question - is this a CA that will be verifying and
signing other certs? (I'll try to dig on the same info, as well)

For the record, I intend to adopt ca-certificates relatively soon, as I
have not heard back from the previous ITA poster in a few weeks. The
package needs some TLC and I have some updates already queued up, but
not pushed to my git repo, yet :-)

Bug#501123: ca-certificates should be in squeeze-updates

2011-10-24 Thread Michael Shuler
retitle 501123 ca-certificates should be in squeeze-updates
thanks

Hi all. Considering the retirement of volatile, I changed the title. I
think it is a good idea to keep ca-certificates updated in
${stable}-updates from here on out. I have some additional work to get
ca-certificates in decent shape, but plan on uploading to
squeeze-updates when we're at a good place with some upgrade testing done.

Would it make sense to use backports as a sort-of stable-experimental
testing ground before upload to ${stable}-updates? Thanks!
