Bug#597022: read permission is required on directories

2010-09-15 Thread Mark Hobley
Package: thttpd
Severity: normal
Tags: lenny

The thttpd daemon requires read permission to be granted on directories.
Theoretically, it should be possible to access the index file without actually
having read permission for the directory, because the filename is already
known by the browser.

Bug#616687: The webserver is listening on blacklisted ipv6

2011-03-06 Thread Mark Hobley
Package: thttpd
Severity: normal

The thttpd web server appears to be listening for ipv6 traffic even though
the ipv6 kernel module is blacklisted and not loaded.

netstat -a|grep www
tcp6   0  0 [::]:www[::]:*  LISTEN

^
This protocol is not supported on this LAN segment

The /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf file contains the following entries:
blacklist ipv6

We should not be listening on ipv6 or displaying addresses in ipv6 format
when ipv6 is blacklisted within the kernel.

Mark.

Bug#532071: The "open window" statement fails

2009-06-06 Thread Mark Hobley
Package: yabasic
Version: 2.763-4
Severity: important

The "open window" statement fails. This bug report reopens #496962, which is
probably archived. The open window statement causes the yabasic interpreter
to crash. This problem still occurs on 32 bit IBM compatible computers using
i486 compatible processors. The bug is still exhibited in stable, testing, and
unstable.
