Bug#257686: bibview: Major loss of data -- no save on exit
Package: bibview Version: 2.2-8 Severity: important If you enter data into bibview, and then click the [x] box of the window manager, you will lose all unsaved data. Perversely, you need to click two save buttons: one for the individual record (to save it into the database) and one for the database (to write it to a file). Bibview should either pop up a "Unsaved data. Exit Y/N." box when exiting with unsaved data. Failing that, it should have a large and clear indicator on the main window that there is unsaved data. Failing that, it should write out a copy of the database. Bug#246343: bibview: Confusing informational message
Package: bibview Version: 2.2-8 Severity: minor When you open the same file for the second time, bibview asks you "? File is loaded. Take saved version?" This didn't enlighten me in the least. First, it should say "...already loaded..." or "...already open..." and second, it's not obvious which version is the saved version.
