Bug#291120: Shows bogus 'time remaining' info when on AC

2005-01-18 Thread Daniel Burrows
Package: xfce4-battery-plugin
Version: 0.2.0-4
Severity: normal

  When the "Display percentage" option is enabled, the battery plugin shows
about how much time is remaining on the current battery. Admittedly, this is
usually pretty inaccurate, but it should probably be hidden completely when
the system is running on AC power, rather than claiming that there are about
700 minutes of power left.

Bug#335811: Take doxygen keywords into account when filling paragraphs.

2005-10-25 Thread Daniel Burrows
Package: doxymacs
Version: 1.6.0-2
Severity: wishlist

Suppose I have a doxygen comment like this:

/** \param Foo A definition of a parameter.
 * \param Bar Another definition of a parameter.
 */

  It would be nice if paragraph fill (M-q) recognized that \param
terminates a paragraph, so that it didn't produce this:

/** \param Fill A definition of a parameter. \param Bar Another
 *  definition of a parameter.
 */

Bug#335812: doxymacs documentation says to customize nonexistant variables.

2005-10-25 Thread Daniel Burrows
Package: doxymacs
Version: 1.6.0-2
Severity: normal

  README.Debian contains the following instruction:

- Customise the variables doxymacs-doxygen-root and doxymacs-doxygen-tags.
  Doxymacs customisation can be done from the Options | Customize menu,
  under Emacs | Programming | Tools | Doxymacs.

  However, neither of the named customization variables exists.

Bug#208090: A hierarchical display of songs (by, eg, artist) would be nice

2003-08-31 Thread Daniel Burrows
Package: easytag
Version: 0.28.1-2
Severity: wishlist

  I'd like to be able to view the list of sound files in a two-level
tree. (the upper level could be artist, album, etc) The sorting
options give you something like this now, but it is rather difficult to
figure out where each group begins and ends. Of course, it should be
possible to apply commands to an entire subtree of songs.

  Motivation: I have a number of ogg files which I encoded from CDs
without sufficient editing of the CDDB information. As a result,
I have muliple variants of some artists' names. For instance, before I
manually normalized some of the worst offenders, I had "Bach", "J.S.
Bach", and "Johann Sebastian Bach". (not to mention the pieces that
were listed by performer where the composer was more appropriate)

  A program like easytag is the best way for me to deal with this, but
it would be even easier if this feature was available :)

Bug#214238: Only builds static libraries

2003-10-05 Thread Daniel Burrows
Package: tse3
Severity: important

  I'm recording this information in the BTS so it's available for
reference.

  The Debian tse3 package only builds static libraries. The reason for
this is that the author of tse3 does specify a soname when linking the
library, so it isn't safe to build shared libraries. (the library's ABI
has changed from time to time)

  There are three ways that I see of dealing with this:

  (a) Only build static libraries; this is what we do now.
  (b) Contact the author and educate him about soname versioning. I am
  attempting to do this now.
  (c) Add our own soname. I am very reluctant to do this, as it could
  cause havoc when upstream finally moves to using sonames.
