Bug#131124: additional information

2002-01-29 Thread Cord Beermann
Hi.

hkgerman is the source-package for igerman and wgerman.

i can't decide if the statement in the copyright file is really a
DSFG-violation or not.

>ber das Copyright habe ich mir keine Gedanken gemacht.
>Auf jeden Fall habe ich nichts dagegegen, wenn Ihr das
>hk2-deutsch.tar.gz
>(evtl. auch ausgepackt oder sonstwie) der Distribution hinzufpgt.
>(Auf der
>S.u.S.E CD ist es auch drauf.)

however: if this is a problem then the igerman98-source-package with
ingerman and wngerman may be also affected.

i can't tell why this bug appears on standard.debian.org

Bug#43173: igerman and ingerman

2002-02-01 Thread Cord Beermann
Hi.

As hkgerman (igerman/wgerman) is orphaned (i just uploaded a new
package which fixed the DFSG-Problem, and a few other problems) i
suggest that you, as the maintainer of igerman89 (ingerman/wngerman)
take over the package until a transition as suggested in bug #43173 is
done...

after that the old package can be orphaned/dropped, if nobody want it.

Bug#132435: Project looks dead

2002-02-06 Thread Cord Beermann
Hi.

Looking at the website and the cvs at seahorse.sf.net, the current
home of the project, it looks to me as if the project is dead. The
last release dates on 19.02.2001, the last change to the homepage
21.05.2001.

So i'd suggest to point users to the gpa-package, and drop this one
out of Debian.

ok... that's a statement.

It IS in woody with V0.5.0-1 . I don'T know how to pull it out of
there.

:-) sometimes i think that might be a good idea ;-)

I really didn't expect to get an answer, so i wanted to suggest a way
to close the RC-bug, and the working and more alife project gpa is
somewhat similar.

> Anyway, if Christian wants, I can take care of it.

Christian has orphaned the package with V0.5.0-2, so if you answer the
hopefully filed bug in wnpp and upload a new release with your name,
it's yours.
