Debian tdom's version is 0.7.8-5 - tDom 0.8.0 was released in 2004,
and 0.8.1 was put on cvs two years ago.

tdom won't work on 64 bits platforms until version 0.8.1, which is in
cvs. I recommend pulling right to cvs version on debian unstable.
