Hi!

Upstream now supports the web version of Skype. It is quite convenient
as it doesn't require to have Skype running anymore. Moreover, it also
works with the new-style chat.

Dear Maintainer,

The recent launch of Skype for Web also introduced an HTTP API, removing
the need for the D-Bus plugin which is now deprecated [1].

>From what I gather the new skypeweb plugin [2] works fine with Skype logins,
but doesn't support MSN/Live logins yet. Would you consider bundling the
skypeweb plugin so users can choose which one to use?

It looks like there was already some activity to get it built on Debian [3]

Dear Maintainer,

This package seems deprecated and no longer maintained upstream. Thus, it's
impossible to answer a call. This bug will not be fixed.

The author works now on skypeweb plugin: http://eion.robbmob.com/

Could you update this package with it, or replace this package with a
pidgin-skypeweb package? I'm aware it's just a git repo, but seems to work.

Regards,

Bug#1061629: Sort the output of -L

2024-01-27 Thread Mikko Viinamäki

Package: dlocate
Version: 1.07+nmu1
Severity: wishlist

Is there any reason for the current ordering of the output? If no I think
sorting it would make alot of sense as currently we dont get the list of all
files in a folder in one cluster or files in alphabetical order. If there is a
reason, maybe it could be mentioned on the manual page.

E.g. "dlocate -L ncal" output (on bullseye) looks just ugly and wrong to me,
note the 3rd binary mentioned close to end and how the ncal man page preceeds the cal man
page.

Bug#1061645: transition: poco

2024-01-27 Thread Bastian Germann

Package: release.debian.org
Control: affects -1 poco
X-Debbugs-Cc: p...@packages.debian.org
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: transition
Severity: normal
Control: forwarded -1 https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/auto-poco.html

poco is available in experimental with the libraries' SOVERSIONs at 100.
This transition is from SOVERSION 80.
The auto-generated Ben file is okay and all reverse dependencies build fine.
