Dear (non-existant) Maintainer,

New upstream releases of gssdp and gupnp 1.6.0 has broken the ABI
and thus bumped the SONAME. A transition is needed.
The new versions are currently stuck in binary-NEW but should hopefully
soon be available in experimental (you can `gbp clone vcsgit:gssdp`,
`gbp clone vcsgit:gupnp` and build them yourself for now if you wish).

Please consider uploading a version of dleyna-core to experimental
that is compatible with the new SONAMEs.
The relevant upstream commit is:
https://github.com/phako/dleyna-core/commit/b88f231affc697be813d7c77c17e3130df8

The relevant bug report for coordinating the transition is #1022003

Dear Maintainer,

I've installed Stretch on my laptop. The shutdown time is quite long and
systemd stops with a message saying: "A stop job is running for User Manager
for UID 1000". After enableing systemd persistent logging as described here

I've found the following messages from dleyna-renderer:

Jul 19 19:33:05 lupo systemd[1395]: dbus.service: State 'stop-final-sigterm'
timed out. Killing.
Jul 19 19:33:05 lupo systemd[1395]: dbus.service: Killing process 1971 (dleyna-
renderer) with signal SIGKILL.

Removing the dleyna-renderer package from my system solves the low shutdown
problem. It would be nice if the package would properly handle termination
signals.

Regards,
Fede

Dear Maintainer,

My Xorg is crashing with this error message, making the workstation completely
unusable untill I kill the Xorg via SSH terminal.

I'm attaching an gdb backtrace, and also installed dleyna-renderer-dbg &&
dleyna-server-dbg packages so I hope the next backtrace will be more usable.

Dear Maintainer,

I'm experiencing weird behaviour on my system, like gnome-shell terminating
every 10 minutes and sometimes I get an automatic logout. At that point in the
logging, I noticed:

Could it be caused by this dleyna-server error?

The problems started after this upgrade:

Perhaps it's a kernel issue? As the kernel got upgraded...

Please advise. Having such an unstable desktop is extremely annoying.

Please consider uploading a version of dleyna-server to experimental
that is compatible with the new SONAMEs.
The relevant upstream commit is:

The relevant bug report for coordinating the transition is #1022003

Package: dleyna-server
Version: 0.4.0-1
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system

Dear Maintainer,

When pluggin a secondary screen, the primary one goes black.
After investigating, I found that dleyna-server segfaulted.

* What led up to the situation?

Pluggin a secondary screen (whether it's VGA or HP DisplayPort).
The secondary screen works properly but the primary one goes black and I need
to reboot to make it work again.

$ sudo dmesg --clear
$ # plug secondary screen
$ dmesg
[ 831.184618] dleyna-server-s[2654]: segfault at 8 ip 7f6ae6c13132 sp
7fff82ba7850 error 4 in libdleyna-server-1.0.so.1.0.3[7f6ae6c03000+21000]

* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)?

None of the following did solve the problem:
- remove ~/.config/monitors.xml
- re-install debian
- unplug the secondary screen

* More info about my system in case it's relevant:

Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.
The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite
references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references
it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the
master archive and will not propagate to any mirrors until the next

Packages are usually not removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks
unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed
from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency
problems. The release team can force a removal from testing if it is
really needed, please contact them if this should be the case.

We try to close bugs which have been reported against this package
automatically. But please check all old bugs, if they were closed

Bug#1023134: Removed package(s) from unstable

2022-10-31 Thread Debian FTP Masters
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:

dleyna-server |0.7.2-1 | source, amd64, arm64, armel, armhf, i386,
mips64el, mipsel, ppc64el, s390x

--- Reason ---
RoQA; unmaintained, needs transition, new upstream uses single repo (dleyna)
--

Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.
The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite
references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references
it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the
master archive and will not propagate to any mirrors until the next
dinstall run at the earliest.

But please check all old bugs, if they were closed
correctly or should have been re-assigned to another package.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to 1023...@bugs.debian.org.

The full log for this bug can be viewed at https://bugs.debian.org/1023134
