Bug#960812: sxid: Please add Recommends for mailx | mailutils

2020-05-16 Thread Logan Rosen
Package: sxid
Version: 4.20130802-2
Severity: minor
Tags: patch
User: ubuntu-de...@lists.ubuntu.com
Usertags: origin-ubuntu groovy ubuntu-patch

Hi,

Please consider adding a Recommends for mailx | mailutils for the sxid
binary. We've been carrying a delta to add this for quite a while now in
Ubuntu, and I think it would make sense to apply this as well in Debian
since sxid uses /usr/bin/mail by default to send reports.

In Ubuntu, the attached patch was applied to achieve the following:

  * Merge from Debian unstable. Remaining changes:
- debian/control: Recommend mailx | mailutils.

Thanks for considering the patch.

Logan

Package: mpg123-el
Version: 1:1.55-1.1
Severity: normal

When trying to use mpg123-el an error is generated. Here's the backtrace:

Debugger entered--Lisp error: (wrong-type-argument number-or-marker-p nil)
  mpg123:peek-id3-tag("/var/autofs/misc/plexxfs/tmp/imerseel_kv488/01 -

  mpg123(nil)

  call-interactively(execute-extended-command nil nil)

This started hapenning with the latest version of the emacs23-common
package and those associated, my guess is that something changed in
emacs-goodies. I noticed that when I started the emacs server an error
"wrong-type-argument number-or-marker-p nil" was printed in the console
just before lauching the frame, but everything went smoothly. Today I
tried to listen to music using mpg123-el and the "misterious" error that
I got when lauching emacs was reproduced.

Bug#960801: Removed package(s) from unstable

2020-05-16 Thread Debian FTP Masters
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:

   sks-ecc | 0.93-6 | source
   sks-ecc | 0.93-6+b1 | amd64, arm64, armel, armhf, i386, mips64el, mipsel,
ppc64el, s390x
sks-ecc-doc | 0.93-6 | all

--- Reason ---
RoQA; dead upstream, cryptographic tool unmaintained in Debian for several
years, low popcon
--

Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.
The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite
references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references
it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the
master archive and will not propagate to any mirrors until the next
dinstall run at the earliest.

Packages are usually not removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks
unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed
from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency
problems. The release team can force a removal from testing if it is
really needed, please contact them if this should be the case.

We try to close bugs which have been reported against this package
automatically. But please check all old bugs, if they were closed
correctly or should have been re-assigned to another package.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to 960...@bugs.debian.org.
