Bug#712779: Removed package(s) from unstable

2013-12-15 Thread Debian FTP Masters
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:

   ipx |2.2.6-9 | amd64, armel, armhf, i386, ia64, mips, mipsel,
powerpc, s390x, sparc

--- Reason ---
RoQA; Unmaintained
--

Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.
The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite
references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references
it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the
master archive and will not propagate to any mirrors (ftp.debian.org
included) until the next dinstall run at the earliest.

Packages are usually not removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks
unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed
from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency
problems. The release team can force a removal from testing if it is
really needed, please contact them if this should be the case.

We try to close bugs which have been reported against this package
automatically. But please check all old bugs, if they were closed
correctly or should have been re-assigned to another package.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to 712...@bugs.debian.org.

The full log for this bug can be viewed at http://bugs.debian.org/712779

It would be great if you could include the ncpvrest util from the
contrib/ directory in the original source. Then I could check what my
quota limit is!

Cheers,

Andrew

Dear pygmy maintainer,

The pygmy package is using the python-libmpdclient (mpdclient2) module.
This library has been abandoned upstream[1] in favour of python-mpd.
Would it be possible to switch this tool over to the other library?

Hi

the quick search (you start to type in list and it finds corresponding
entry) works only in top level directory in bantu. Searching in
subsequent directories does not work as expected.

Problem seems to be that it expects full path to be entried (eg.
music/Rammstein/2005) , while I want to search in current level (2005
when I'm in music/Rammstein).

Dear Eloy,

In order to login to our Netware 4.x servers, I had to use the tree name
appended to the end of the context and followed by a dot. I. e., I had
to login with

ncpmount SomeUserName/some.context.stuff.treename. dirname/

This morning's update left me unable to login this way. Trial and error
led me to discover that removing the treename and the final dot, either from
manual logins or .nwclient files allowed me to login.

I don't understand anything about it. I'm filing this as a bug mostly to
put mention of this problem in reach of other users. The "real" bug report
should be a wishlist item for documentation : some introductory material to
Netware for *nix users is badly needed by people who just happen to have to
live with this (for organizational reasons) but know zilch about it ...

Separate `config' target from `build' target to make it easier on
folks who study the code before they build it. I needed to configure
first before making TAGS, viewing the config.h, etc. I wish this was
a standard thing. I alway want to be able to run `debian/rules
 config'.

Also allow setting of extra `configure' options, and explicitly pass
the ${configuration} value, so that it's set correctly on i{5,6}86
machines and bears the Debian label in the vendor field.

Package: ncpfs
Version: 2.2.0.17-1

When rebooting, if I have forgotten to type in "ncpumount
" at a shell prompt, the NCP filesystems remain mounted.
There is a related error message that goes by at the console when
rebooting, saying something like "ncp_something returned -2" (it goes
by fast). I think the error message comes when the
/etc/rc6.d/S40umountfs script tries to unmount everything, when by
this time networking has been shut down.

I suggest that ncpfs should have its own unmounting script to be
executed before the K20ipx script. Another approach would be to add to
the S31umountnfs.sh script, but it would get executed after ipx is
already down. As a workaround I'm going to try simply editing the ipx
script.

Dependencies:

ii libc6 2.1.3-18 GNU C Library: Shared libraries and Timezone
ii libpam0g 0.72-9 Pluggable Authentication Modules library

Bug#732074: Removed package(s) from unstable

2013-12-15 Thread Debian FTP Masters
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:

 pygmy | 0.48-4 | source, all

--- Reason ---
RC-buggy; orphaned; dead upstream

If you
have further comments please address them to 732...@bugs.debian.org.

The full log for this bug can be viewed at http://bugs.debian.org/732074

It would be great if you could include chgpwd from
contrib/tcl-utils into the package. This utility is fairly needed to
change passwords on our Netware servers. Unfortenately, nwpasswd doesn't
work for us. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Holger
