Bug#647281: [enchant] incomplete/outdated manpage for enchant
Package: enchant Version: 1.6.0-4 Severity: normal enchant's manpage contains: SYNOPSIS enchant [-a] [-l] [-L] [-v] However, calling enchant without arguments outputs: Usage: enchant [options] -a|-d dict|-l|-L|-m|-v[v]| -a lists alternatives. -d dict uses dictionary . -l lists misspellings. -m is ignored. -L displays line numbers. -v displays program version. chealer@vinci:~/logs$ If you look at the output, you also notice it contains options not found in the manpage, suggesting the manpage is also outdated. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qa-packages-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#647284: [libenchant1c2a] "contains shared library" in extended description

Thanks, This has been already reported as part of Debian #546418. Today I filed an upstream bug report and sent upstream a patch with proposed changes for this, also including a couple of other Debian changes, http://bugzilla.abisource.com/show_bug.cgi?id=13163 In the meantime, I will soon commit the part related to this bug report, -- Agustin -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-qa-packages-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
