I just imported all history of gecko-mediaplayer to a Git repository.
Here it is:
http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=collab-maint/gecko-mediaplayer.git

Would you like to be the person in "Maintainer" filed, or ask Debian
Multimedia team and put this package under it's umbrella? If
gecko-mediaplayer get moved to Multimedia team's repository, I'll move
gnome-mplayer, too.

I prefer to have it under the Multimedia team's umbrella, but if they
don't want it, I can take the Maintainer ownership.

Bug#501123: ca-certificates should be in squeeze-updates

2011-10-24 Thread Michael Shuler
retitle 501123 ca-certificates should be in squeeze-updates
thanks

Hi all. Considering the retirement of volatile, I changed the title. I
think it is a good idea to keep ca-certificates updated in
${stable}-updates from here on out. I have some additional work to get
ca-certificates in decent shape, but plan on uploading to
squeeze-updates when we're at a good place with some upgrade testing done.

Would it make sense to use backports as a sort-of stable-experimental
testing ground before upload to ${stable}-updates? Thanks!

The suggestion of using fetch-crl is a good one, as the package appears
to be well thought out for it's purpose. However, including a
Recommends in ca-certificates for fetch-crl does not appear to add any
value, as fetch-crl does nothing, by design, without additional manual
configuration - see #623213.
