Hello Gordon,

I have 3 soundcards installed and "wmmixer" show for two of them more
them 20 deviced which is realy annoying. OK, since I can setup a
~/.wmmixer it is only fine, if you have ONLY ONE soundcard.

Please make the config configurable to let users create more then one
config.

Q: Where can I get the devices for a CreativeLabs Soundblaster Live! 5.1?

Thanks, Greetings and nice Day

Bug#633555: toshset: novatel patch blocks suspend if device doesn't exist

2011-07-11 Thread Brian Murray
Package: toshset
Version: 1.76-1
Severity: important
Tags: patch
User: ubuntu-de...@lists.ubuntu.com
Usertags: origin-ubuntu oneiric ubuntu-patch

After fixing a pm-utils bug,
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=633147, that ensured
that suspend was never inhibited it was discovered that toshset doesn't
check for the existence of a device before trying to modify it.
Subsequently, if the device doesn't exist it returns a non-zero exit
code which thereby inhibits suspend. The following patch fixes that.

In Ubuntu, the attached patch was applied to achieve the following:

to allow users to suspend / hibernate again.

  * 08_novatel_3g_suspend.patch: allow suspend / hibernate if device doesn't
exist

Thanks for considering the patch.

Package: twpsk
Version: 3.0-3
Severity: wishlist

The xprint package is obsolete and scheduled for removal. A related
library is libxp, which provides an API that enables client programs
to access and use an Xprint server. Since we're getting rid of
xprint, one could argue it makes sense to get rid of libxp as well.

Your package depends on libxp. This situation sometimes arises
historically from the time before xprint was considered obsolete, with
Build-depends: libxp-dev being set in the past and then forgotten and
untouched.

This bug has been filed to prompt you to check if you really want
Xprint (libxp) support in your package.

We'll leave libxp in the archives for the time being until you and the
other packages using it have determined whether you want to keep the
dependency. But we'll be removing xprint itself and other related
packages now.

Bug#633585: Removed package(s) from unstable

2011-07-11 Thread Debian FTP Masters
We believe that the bug you reported is now fixed; the following
package(s) have been removed from unstable:

 twpsk | 3.0-3 | source, amd64, armel, hurd-i386, i386, ia64,
kfreebsd-amd64, kfreebsd-i386, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390, sparc

--- Reason ---
RoQA; dead upstream, orphaned, unused
--

Note that the package(s) have simply been removed from the tag
database and may (or may not) still be in the pool; this is not a bug.
The package(s) will be physically removed automatically when no suite
references them (and in the case of source, when no binary references
it). Please also remember that the changes have been done on the
master archive (ftp-master.debian.org) and will not propagate to any
mirrors (ftp.debian.org included) until the next cron.daily run at the
earliest.

Packages are usually not removed from testing by hand. Testing tracks
unstable and will automatically remove packages which were removed
from unstable when removing them from testing causes no dependency
problems. The release team can force a removal from testing if it is
really needed, please contact them if this should be the case.

We try to close Bugs which have been reported against this package
automatically. But please check all old bugs, if they where closed
correctly or should have been re-assign to another package.

Thank you for reporting the bug, which will now be closed. If you
have further comments please address them to 633...@bugs.debian.org.
