Bug#219454: marked as done (opensched: doesn't handle "done task_id N" with "complete task_id N" properly)

Package: opensched
Version: 0.4.3-2
Severity: normal

I wanted to indicate that for the specific task some amount of time
had been spent without any progress and reflect that info in the
generated htmlreport. I was pretty sure that defining 'done' clause
without 'complete' should do the trick but encountered the following
instead:

If for the specific task id I provide 'done' clause and do not provide
'complete' clause then 'done' clause has no effect on the "Resources And
Task Assignment" part of the generated report (it says "nn days scheduled
0 days completed" disregarding of 'done' value in project description
file). If this is expected behavior then opensched could warn a user
when it found that 'done' without 'complete' statement.
I've found that the 'past' statement do the job with one small
inconvenience: I need to provide actual timeframe (start and finish)
instead of number of days. Is it possible that 'done' do the same?

but I haven't tested it yet, so no patch attached here.

Looking at the cron job in question, it would appear that adding
the -q flag to /usr/sbin/amavis-stats should fix this, I think this
should be the default for Debian installations.

Hello,

Due to some reason i haven't identified(*), amavis-stats' state-file

a line of the log file.
Therefore, when amavis-stats tries to parse the line, it dies with

note : offset 235 is right after "Dec 10 07:02:32 slxmrml1" but before
"amavis[4168]" so, the test /usr/bin/amavis-stats line 624 :
if ($line =~ /amavis.*?\[\d+\]:/) {
is valid !

I guess it should be safer to make sure that the offset is right after
an "\n" when the state file is loaded.

Franklin

Below is a patch for the changes that I made to make it run on a local
system. This bug seems to be a bit related to #473735 though that
submitter made other changes and possibly reversed some that I made.

Other info: this is a fresh install for me.

Anyway, below are the patches (I had to reinstall to get the original):

Package: wmavgload
Version: 0.7.0-8

Maybe this bugs occurs on other archs, but I don't have any workstations
to test... I have found the same bug on several Sparc64/SMP and
amd64/SMP that run debian/testing up to date and wmaker window manager.

When wmavgload crashes, it uses 100% of a CPU and I have kill it with
SIGTERM. It is impossible to stop it with right button and 'quit' option
 provided by docket application.

After upgrading to Lenny I noticed that spam statistics would no longer graph.
The error on the daily spam stats graph (after a day with no data) is
"amavis-stats::error: rrd_graph():", but maybe that's normal if there is no
data.
So the question would be: why is there no data?

I removed all rrd files in /var/lib/amavis-stats/ to see whether that would
help. It did not.

As far as I can see, amavis output on Passed Spam has not changed, except for a
"size: ..." between "Hits: ..." and "queued_as: ..." in mail.log

Package: amavis-stats
Version: 0.1.12-10
Severity: normal

Hi,

when amavis-stats is installed, no questions are asked as to which
webserver is to be configured. Instead of auto-detecting the right
server (eg. I have only Apache2 installed, out of the list of supported
servers), the package silently configures to "Apache". One has to
manually work on this and eg.

# dpkg-reconfigure -plow amavis-stats

to remedy the situation.

Kind regards,
--Toni++

Package: amavis-stats
Version: 0.1.12-10
Severity: important

Hi,

I've just installed amavis-stats and found that the package does not
work as intended *at all*.

When I enable the package by symlinking its apache.conf to
/etc/apache2/conf.d, reload apache2, and try to visit the stats page, I
get:

 cut
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /amavis-stats/index.php on this
server.
 cut

I've fiddled with the apache config snippet to change this, but
unsuccessfully so far (must have something to do with the symlink,
though).

Kind regards,

Package: amavisd-new
Version: 1:2.6.1.dfsg-1
Severity: minor

Hello,
every week after the mail.info logfile has been rotated root receives
the following message:

-- snip --

Cron   [ -x /usr/sbin/amavis-stats ] &&
/usr/sbin/amavis-stats /var/log/mail.info

amavis-stats: Logfile "/var/log/mail.info" appears to have rotated

-- snip --

It's not very annoying, but it would be nice to fix it! :-)

I'm not sure if a "grep -v" in the cron.d file would be appropriate...

Regards
Markus
