Hi,

tpb has a nice debconf question asking the user if he wants tpb to be
launched automatically on X11 startup. If answered yes, it creates a
startup script in /etc/X11/Xsession.d/90tpb.

It would be very nice if you could do the same with unclutter.

Regards,
Daniel

iPod Follow-up

2008-07-14 Thread Rachel S.
Hey!

Thanks for taking interest in this year's iPod offer. I just wanted to send
you this final email to let you know that we do have a small number of the 8gb
iPod nano videos (and accessories) left. In an effort to end this offer (for
good!), we have decided to clear out our remaining stock by dropping the price
even lower. All items are now sold at cost! Please note that the color
selection will change as we sell out. Also, if you missed your opportunity for
accessories the first time, now is your chance to receive them at half off.

Thanks again for your support! Have a great summer.

Sincerely,

Rachel

Bug#490602: -forall for all options

2008-07-14 Thread jidanni
BRL> xli test.png -rotate 90 test.png -rotate 180 test.png

P.S., unless the image is a perfect square, the -rotate 90 here will put
the image partially below the screen.

OK, I see now on the man page
LOCAL IMAGE OPTIONS
PERSISTENT IMAGE OPTIONS

There should still be a --local and a --persistent, to turn the next
option into the other form, as there seems to be at least several
local options one might occasionally want to be persistent, etc. e.g.,
I must view 100 vertical JPEGs so I need a simple way to rotate each
90 degrees without using another program or making a whopper command
line or xargs etc.

Or the man page should mention how to view 100 rotated images as an example.

Bug#488934: [SRM] stable upload for licq?

2008-07-14 Thread Frank Lichtenheld
licq in stable is currently unusable due to server-side changes (see bug
#488934). The patch is trivial and I have confirmed that it applies to
the stable version and works.

The question now is where to upload to?
Is this ok for a stable point release? Or should this go into volatile
instead?

For reference the debdiff I tested with:
